Embakasi East MP demands Nation Media Group to make a public apology over NTV's interview with Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve, claims it defamed him.

Babu's lawyers said that their client has not been found culpable of shooting DJ Evolve as depicted by the said interview.

"That your story on the plight of Mr Felix, though noble as it shows his improved state, has been used by yourselves to attack, cause, persecute, reprimand, convict our client in the eyes of the public." states a clause in the demand notice.

The man with the gun is Kenya's Member of Parliament for Embakasi East, Mr. Babu Owino. A few months ago, video footage captured him shooting the resident DJ of a popular night club in Nairobi at point blank and even dragging him out of the building. When the case was heard in court, the judge released Mr.Owino on bail, for which he was allowed to pay in installments and ordered him to pay the victim's medical expenses. Meanwhile, as seen in this video https://youtu.be/QcY6bjobnDU lost his voice, his ability to move his arms and legs resulting to a loss in his career as well. What is saddening, is that after the airing of this interview by NTV Kenya, Babu Owino sued the media house and the brave journalist who raised public attention to the matter lost his job.

A year ago American missionary Gregory Dow was arrested for the defilement of underage girls in Eldoret, Kenya. In an interview by NTV Kenya https://youtu.be/KOfdDaWy43E one of the girls shares a story of continuous assault and r**e of several girls in the centre. She says that Gregory Dow's wife would be the one to take them to a local clinic for their contraceptive medication.
Although it is not clear how a registered s*x offender was able to open an orphanage in Kenya, it is reported that the local authorities were aware of what was going on at the orphanage, and for years they turned a blind eye.
Despite it all, we are glad that has been served.

The Scottsboro Boys were nine black teenagers ages 13 to 20, who were falsely accused in 1931 of ra**ng two white women on a train. An all white jury found the young men guilty, although the women eventually admitted to lying about the r**e.

The youngest of the boys was blind, and was born with syphilis... proving the boys could not have r**ed the women without spreading the disease. The Scottsboro Boys collectively served more than 100 years in prison. Only one of the men survived, after serving several decades in prison to later be exonerated.

He died shortly after he was released from prison.
(The right for black people to serve on juries was established by their case.)
