It is with great sadness and regret that we had do this. We worked real hard to have a successful retreat, but the interest just wasn’t there. I’m also hurt that no one wanted to do the retreat except for three lovely ladies. The response at the beginning was huge, but even with a year to come together the interest wasn’t enough.

Hopefully we can have one in the future, but on a smaller scale and less of a timeframe.

Keith and I attended the THSC Homeschool Conference yesterday, and we got a great treat!! Kirk Cameron made a guest appearance in the Patriot Academy workshop and he was signing his book with Brave Books, so of course I had to get mine signed and a chance to shake his hand. What I didn’t get to tell him yesterday, for lack of time, is that I admire Him for his stand for Christ and that he is an encouragement to all who us who struggle to stand for Christian values and fighting against the far left side.
