Here’s a recipe for the dish shown in your image — it looks like American Goulash (also called beef and macaroni in tomato sauce).

---

American Goulash Recipe 🍲

Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (28 oz / 800 g) can diced tomatoes

1 (15 oz / 425 g) can tomato sauce

2 cups beef broth (or water)

2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika (optional)

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil (if beef is very lean)

---

Instructions

1. Cook the beef

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat (skip oil if beef has enough fat).

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess fat if needed.

2. Add aromatics

Stir in chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3–4 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

3. Simmer the sauce

Add diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato sauce, beef broth, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

Stir well and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

4. Cook the pasta in the sauce

Add the elbow macaroni directly into the pot. Stir well so pasta is submerged.

Simmer uncovered for about 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.

5. Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve hot, optionally topped with shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese.

---

💡 Tip: This dish tastes even better the next day as the flavors blend together. You can also add diced bell peppers or a pinch of chili flakes for extra flavor.
