Friends, Family, Fellow Humans: ๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐! All editions of the book are available now. This has been a labor of love for many years, to say the least. I'm thrilled that, like its protagonists, the book is finally heading out into the great unknown.
Like a centuries-long mission to launch zygotes off to distant exoplanets to carry on this great legacy of humanity, this book launch will take a true group effort if it's going to succeed. To gain momentum and exposure to a wider audience, a book launch needs as many orders in the first few days of release as it can get โ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ.
In truth, I am deeply uncomfortable with the implications of this request, in a time when so many need so many important things. But this work is so much more than "just a science fiction book" to me. A quote from "The Afterword (for Afterwards)" says it nicely:
