Hi all, we've just launched our new Jungle sub-label called Deep Bass Nine.

Both 001 and 002 have been released at the same time with 001 being pressed on translucent yellow and 002 being pressed on translucent blue.

001 features tracks from Ark X & Duburban and a chilled out Jungle roller from Polarity on the flip.

002 features Ark X & Duburban again and we welcome London based producer Circa96 into the fold.

These are limited edition runs of 300. Digital versions are also available.

Unfortunately the situation at pressing plants means that it's taking longer than usual to press records, so we're expecting the full run to land in about 10 weeks time.

We're happy to announce WAVE002 is being sent off for mastering and pressing tomorrow. This release welcomes Polarity and Innercore to the label alongside P Rambo and Pixl and is being cut and mastered by Beau @ 1087 Mastering.

Manchester producer Polarity takes a step away from his usual amen science to bring us a blissed out 135bpm UK Bass workout with deep pads and a nice breakbeat rolling over the top, while Innercore switches things up with a 130 breakbeat monster with nods back to 1993 but keeping a modern edge.

We're very excited to have these guys on the label and are looking forward to revealing what they've been working on for us!

Keep an eye out for soundcloud clips in the coming weeks. We have decided there will be no preorder for this one and will be dropping the release on Bandcamp and all the usual distros as soon as the finished product is in our hands.

Great news pre-order gang!

WAVE001 has been pressed and has been delivered to our distributor. They are now in the process of stamping the records and sending them out to stores and sending copies to ourselves to fulfil bandcamp orders.

We expect to receive the records next week at which point we will ship them out.

Please be aware that there could be some significant delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.

All international sales will be provided with a tracking number.

WE ARE ACCEPTING DEMOS!

Whilst we plan on releasing music from more established producers in the scene, the label was created to act as a launch pad for up and coming producers who are looking for their first vinyl release.

If you want to send us music for consideration, please email a soundcloud link to your music to [email protected].

On an unrelated note, pre-order gang, we are on track with a delivery date for 25 Jan - 29 Jan for WAVE001. We do not expect another delay, but if this changes, we will update you.

Once we have the records in our hands, we will ship them ASAP. If you are based outside the UK, your records will come with a tracking number, so please keep and eye out for the tracking reference on bandcamp.

**TEST PRESS COMPETITION**

***UPDATE***

Just a little update for the pre-order crew. We are expecting the TPs to arrive early next week. Once we have approved the TPs then the full release will be pressed.

Unfortunately, due to the incoming lockdown restrictions, there will be a 2 week delay for the full release. This is outside of our control.

Seventh Wave Sounds is proud to present its first release "WAVE001". The record features four 130-140 breaks tracks from label owners Pixl and P Rambo (AKA Hyson) on a stamped white label.

130 London shows Pixl on a dark, modern breakbeat tip with a nod to the UK Bass scene, while Hold It takes you on a journey back to the early 90s with whistle vibes and a crusty pitched down amen.

Mighty Wind switches up the vibe with a rolling modern hardcore banger with a 4/4 kick to carry you through to the final track of the release. Slick rounds off the EP nicely with another pitched down amen punctuated by rhodes piano and a tidy vocal trade off.

All vinyl orders will come with digital files which will be available to download very soon. We expect the vinyl to be ready in early December.
