Hey, guys!! Sorry it has taken so long for my weekend update.

Rand is doing so good considering! I know it sounds redundant to say "Rand is getting better and better every day!", But it's true! He is working so hard to get to where he can walk and take care of himself again. The Rand Strong Vibe is flowing strong!! He will actually be coming home this week!!

Rand will still need time to readjust and settle into his home that he has so very much missed! Jericho and his Granny are his #1 goals when he gets home 🥰

I know there are so many loved ones that want to see Rand. We ask that everyone be patient while he endures this transition. Visits will be made upon Rand's discretion and on his desired timeline.

Thank you sooooo much for all of the prayers, support, and encouragement that you have continued, and should continue to give our Rand! From the bottom of our hearts and his, we are forever grateful 💪🏼❤️🤘🏼

Rand and I had a good visit yesterday and this morning. Like Leslie said before, he’s super appreciative to all of the staff there. They all love him because he peps them up. Typical Rand lol. He’s in good spirits and ready to be home and out of that “$40,000 p.o.s. boulder” they have him sleeping on 😂 y’all keep doing what you’ve been doing...it’s so appreciated!

Rand Update! 7-10-22

Hey, Guys!! Rand continues to amaze us with his strength and massive heart! He is still improving every day, and needs little, if any, assistance standing and sitting. He is sleeping better at night, and it seems like every therapy session produces more and more result! We're definitely not to the full walking stage yet, but all signs point to success! 🥰 Please keep praying for our Rand!! He is closer and closer to being back with us!! 💪🏽❤🤘🏼

Hello, Rand's Village 🥰

It has been a busy weekend with our Rand. He is talking quite alot as of late. Some of it makes sense, some of it doesn't. I feel that his brain is slowly but surely piecing back together! He is in alot of pain, and we work hard to make him as comfortable as possible around the clock. He often likes to use his sense of humor to null the pain. I love it when he seems to forget about his condition, even if just for a moment, because he's been able to make someone laugh 🥲 He is experiencing some very lucid moments, but also bouts of regression where he is very confused and goes back to not knowing certain facts, actions, etc. that he knew minutes or even years before. I pray that these episodes will fade over time.

Physical therapy is still working their magic, and Rand's muscle movements on his left side are improving every day. He can use his left arm a little bit better for light things, and he is able to put a little more weight on his left leg, though still unable to walk at this time. Rand is a long way from healed, but I truly believe it is coming!!!

This is a very confusing time for Rand right now. We remind him daily of how many wonderful people are supporting him along this rough road to recovery . We know that so many of you want to see him, and would love to be able to be in his beautiful presence. With a few more weeks, or months if that's what it takes, of intensive care, we pray that each and every one who love and miss him will get that chance! We ask that his loved ones remain patient during this time and give Rand the healing space he needs so that he can be ready for a visit from each and every one of you in time. Please keep the prayers rolling in. They are working in his favor for sure!! We Love You All!!

Rand had a good day! Therapists worked him hard. He is sore. Him and Chad, the guitarist therapist, rocked it out this afternoon. Music therapy is his favorite!Now he is waiting for supper to arrive.

He told me he was getting used to this. I asked , used to what? Food delivery at my bedside. Lol! He just grinned.....

I HIT SEND TOO SOON, GUYS. I WAS NOT DONE YET LOL. HERE'S THE WHOLE VERSION!

Hello, Rand's Village!!
It's been a busy weekend so far with our Rand. Mom (Aunt Kim) said that yesterday he ate nearly four double portioned plates of food!! This awesome appetite is what he needs in order to get his energy back. And while it does have him sleeping a little better at night, it also has him much more active in the day time.
So, he got his belly full yesterday, and he slept all night last night. Today he was very restless and had alot of leg and hip pain throughout the day. Physical therapy was very short today and will be again tomorrow, then he will undergo another full, tough week of all day therapy.

One of the things that touches me the most right now about Rand is that, even though he is going through so much, and is enduring so much pain, he is still respectful and kind to all the staff when they enter his room. (For the most part. He does get a little sassy with Aunt Kim at times lol). He always makes a point to say "Thank you", or "I appreciate it" when they come in to give his meds, bring food, ect. 🥰

Rand's coherence is gradually improving with every passing day. He is remembering more, taking less time to respond, and still able to make jokes at times, even when in pain. My Cuz really does have a beautiful heart of gold 💛

We've said it several times, and I will say it again. The updates we post do not include all the nitty gritty details, as they shouldn't. Ultimately, Rand is improving. He is not losing any ground at this point, and whether the steps he is making are small or not, they are steps in the right direction. There is no need for everyone to know the unpleasantries that go along with this type of traumatic unjury, or how hard the job of being a so-called "sitter" really is! I will continue to respectably update you guys as throughly as possible, while also keeping Rand's modesty and integrity in mind. We Love You All. Please keep the prayers and good vibes flowing!!! ❤🧡💛🧡❤

Hi everyone! I am with Rand and he is doing well with therapy and talking more. He knows me most of the time. When he gets mad at me I am definitely Aunt Kim. But he is polite and sweet and RAND !!!! If you know what I mean!! Keep the prayers coming!! Big changes are starting to happen! I will try to update as I can but it is busy here most of the time!

Hello Rand Fans!!! Rand had a swallowing study this morning and passed with flying colors!! He gets a lunch tray today!!!! He is down for therapy now. He had a pb&j sandwich for breakfast during the study. He said it was good!! Baby steps and then one GIANT LEAP!!! -Aunt Kim

Never once slowing down on showing up and showing out or covering him and his family with the thoughts, love and prayers they have so desperately needed these last few weeks. The silhouette in the design is used from an actual photo of Rand and his best boy, Jericho! ❤️ The new shirts have been priced as low as the site allows (There will still be profits that will go to Rand). We want everyone to be able to have one of these as a reminder of how important and appreciated you are and have been during this time. Rand was really active today. He talked a lot. Still pretty restless at times, but for someone that rarely sits still very long, he’s doing great. The transfer didn’t take long at all between hospitals. He can pull himself all over the place, he surprised two of his new nurses with his strength. One was like “man he’s strong!” Ya DAMN RIGHT HE IS 💪🏻🤘🏻 I bet he gets a lot of good rest tonight. PT starts tomorrow

Hi, this is Leslie.
Today Rand just started snapping his fingers and cracking his knuckles on his right side. His problem is the right side of his brain and his left side. He just had a CT scan for the Trach in his neck. It os red and swollen. Waiting on results. He is wiggling his right toes but not left. His eyes are not exactly looking alike. His right eye is over amd a little up. His left eye is correct. We are on the upward path.

Thanks everyone. Rand Sinclair has still not regained consciousness. They have turned his sedation off. He is twisting my rings on my fingers around and around.
Leg surgery for both femurs with external bars tomorrow. His arm, wrist , nose are not broken and lungs are good. He has a trach and feeding tube now. Did that today. Just waiting to see his eyes open. Please pray. This my kids are my heart......but he is getting a whooping after all this is over. -Mrs. Leslie

Just got this...
He had the trach put in and feeding tube. His brain drain is turned to off, but still in his head. His brain pressure is 4. Leg surgery tomorrow hopefully. They just turned 0ff all the sedation a.d now we are going to see whats going to happen now.

This morning he is running a low grade fever.. they said nothing to worry about.. he looks better but has not opened his eyes yet.. ortho came in and said no surgery today. His ICP went up to 48 when they did the layflat test early this morning. He still may get his trach and feeding tube. I will keep you updated as much as I can.
