Android users will soon benefit from an auto-archive feature, allowing them to quickly and easily offload unused apps and free up memory, similar to the iPhones' technology.
This feature is meant to optimize the device's memory while making it easier for users to access their apps when they're ready to be used again.
Google recently rolled out their new 'auto-archive' feature for the Android operating system, which is essentially the same as what Apple did with iOS.
In a nutshell, it will automatically detect old, unused apps on your device, and it will archive them to free up some valuable space. This means that you won't have to go and manually delete them every now and then; they'll just silently disappear in the background, giving you more space for new ones.
The way it works is that it keeps track of the apps you open, and after a certain point (which is specified in the settings), it will automatically archive any app that you haven't used for that amount of time. You can still access it and use it if you want to, but it will remain archived until you open it up again. This will save you a ton of time and effort, as you'll be able to quickly access the apps you frequently use while freeing up space for new ones.
