Since time immemorial, the LGBTQ+ community has been in the battle against a kind of society that makes them a subject of discrimination and denies them the basic rights that most people get to enjoy.

Homophobia refers to various negative attitudes towards q***r individuals that may be expressed at the individual, cultural, and institutional level. As homophobia remains to be prevalent, it continues to leave a negative impact on the community — the unfortunate targets of contempt, prejudice, and violence. We are brought up with different ethics and morals, but questioning the status quo and the norms says how much we value the fact that everyone deserves to live their life free of fear for simply being themselves.

Whether you are a victim of homophobia or concerned about how homophobia affects others, there are actions that we can take to deal with it and brush it off our minds. Raising awareness and calling for change do not end in July. Thus, we ask you to raise our flags once again, as this episode will tackle the LGBTQ+ community, the common struggles, and how members deal with homophobia and the roots of it.

To all g**s out there, listen and remember that the only thing that is wrong with you is that you think there is something wrong with you. Don't let your inner saboteur, sabotage you. As what mother Rupaul says, "If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?" so slay ookurrr!

Climate crisis is one of the most critical global challenges of our times. Recent events have emphatically demonstrated our growing vulnerability to climate change. Its impacts range from affecting agriculture, further endangering food security, to sea-level rise and the accelerated erosion of coastal zones surging the intensity of natural disasters, species extinction, and spread of vector-borne diseases.

Although we have been raising public awareness on climate crisis for years, this is not enough; the global temperature increases day by day. Even with the reduction in CO2 emissions during the pandemic, data presents that atmospheric CO2 levels are still at their highest ever. Regrettably, time is running out fast, and it seems that long-term actions such as using eco-friendly propositon cannot stop the severity of its effect.

As youth of today, we have the greater power whether or not we become oblivious of this reality, for the future lies in us as much as our shared destiny lies in our global condition.

On this episode, we will not hear narratives concerning social agenda, cultural norm and human tendencies; instead, we will take a step up towards touching on climacteric environmental issues that seem to be confronting us day-to-day.
