Believe it or not, this is a completely unedited photo of a sunset in Bandarban. I consider myself blessed to have got the opportunity to take this shot. Subhan Allah, how beautiful is Allah's creation.

Recognise him? This is TinTin, one of the two male cats in my cat family. Last monsoon, when I visited Bandarban with my parents, I took him with me. Everyday, he would get out in the woods to have a walk and I would walk after him, with my camera open for the perfect shot of my little bro. I even created videos which are hours long but felt too lazy to edit them and post them on YouTube; probably one day I will.
Speaking of this particular shot, I took it from behind a bunch of fallen leaves. The original photo itself looked gorgeous to me and after a bit of retouch on Snapseed, it kinda looks heavenly.
I like to think of my cats as angles from heaven bestowed to me and my mom by Allah because honestly speaking, if it wasn't for them, mom and I would have suffered from severe depression in the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown. The cats keep us busy with work and we never get bored. Dad used to dislike cats before but now, he loves them. Infact, he even lets them sit beside him on his bed as he takes his meal. These cats have brought a lot of good to me and my family. So you see now why they are a blessing.
Now, do me a favour and this post with more and more people so that they know that a photography page called Iftisam Mirza actually exists and so that my page grows. React and comment your thoughts about this photo in the comment section. Have a nice day ahead.

I took this picture on the night of Eid-ul-Fitr in 2021. These flowers adorn the front of the apartment building of one of my uncles from my dad's side. He was the only relative we knew in Dhaka and so it was a duty to visite them every once in a while and specially on Eid day. I edited the picture in his house with my phone, as I do with all my photos. The thing looked kind of dull at first but a bit of work on the saturation, highlights and shadows gave birth to this beauty. This probably is one of those very few works I am proud of. 😇😇😇

Become an ambassador for Palestine. Don't let anyone speak anything wrong about Palestine. The issue cannot be termed a war. Its cannot be termed a conflict. It is genocide on unarmed people by an oppressing government gone crazy. Support the victims, condem the criminals. Don't let them victim blame the Palestinians.

I call this picture 'When parents become old'. You will get the meaning of that in a moment but first of all, a bit of history. On the right is Minni, the eldest cat in my whole cat family, and the mother of all the rest of my cats. She came to our old house when she was pregnant. She supposedly was someone's pet before she came to us because she was so clean and as white as cotton candy. Long story short, she began staying with us ever since and, about 6 to 7 months after her arrival, she gave birth to 6 kittens, one of which was a boy. That boy grew up, 2 years later, to be Tintin on the left of the picture.
Now, Minni has become older and her teeth have become weaker but still, she is an active cat who likes her own company for the most part. This picture, however, is truly rare because Tintin and his mom never nap together in general, provided the fact that both are the most aggressive cats I have.
Looking at this picture makes me imagine the time when my parents will become old and I will be a grown-up. Probably then, me, my mom and my dad will be spending family time together on a comfortable couch, refreshing memories of days long gone. May Allah, allow me to reach that day.

I like spending my holidays in Bandarban. This photo was taken during the monsoon last year. At first glance, you might see only a dark foreground with a grey and white background, signifying the sky. But watch out. You might be missing some details. I call it 'It's raining, but not here'. Does that give you a hint? Whenever you get it, don't forget to leave a comment. Like, share, and follow for more.
