Art, design, and culture are like the building blocks of our everyday world. They make our surroundings special and can even change how we feel. We are surrounded by things that artists and designers have made, like the buildings in our cities and the clothes we wear.

Now, picture an event called the "Designers and Makers Market". It's like a big showcase of beautiful things creative people from Kent have made.

When you visit this market, you'll step into a world full of creativity and skills. There will be 22 very talented people showing off the things they've made by hand. You'll see beautiful hand-painted dishes, delicate jewellery with lots of details, soft scarves that were carefully woven, and pretty wooden vessels. These things aren't made in a factory; each one is special, not very many are made, and the people who made them put a lot of love and care into their work.

As you walk around, you'll find items that aren't just pretty – they also have a story. Each thing comes with a little bit of the designer's own story. It's a chance to give someone a gift that's extra special and means something. You can learn about what inspired them and how they made it.

The Designers and Makers Market is happening at just the right time to find unique gifts for your loved ones. Instead of giving ordinary gifts, you can give something one-of-a-kind and really meaningful.
