Hello Planner Buddies,

You may have already seen in my stories what has happened to me. Last week I lost my home and everything I’ve ever owned in a devastating fire. Now, my family and I have nothing left. We’re in front of a huge challenge, and we all don’t know how to handle it. We know it will all be better someday, but right now, everything feels like a traumatic nightmare.

Today was a very relaxing day. I finally managed to get back on my walking pad after a while. My goal for the march was to achieve at least 8k steps every day. Didn’t work so far, but I’m trying my best to make it happen again.

Omg, it’s finally here! 🤩 Since I lost my previous Magic Keyboard, I’ve been missing it so hard. Whenever I wanted to journal, write nails, or do anything else with a keyboard, I was like, „I want my Magic Keyboard back.“ 🥺 A Magic Keyboard is such a nice addition to the iPad, and also for digital planning! When I heard the first rumors about a re-designed Magic Keyboard, I wanted to wait until Apple would announce them. Then they said that new keyboards would only work with 13“ instead of 12.9“, and again, I was like, „Aaaah 😫😡“. I really love Apple products, but sometimes I am disappointed. However, since my iPad Pro is not even a year old, I decided to buy a new Magic Keyboard for my 12.9“ instead of saving for a whole new iPad setup. The year 2023 finally comes to an end, and it’s the first time in years that I can’t wait for a new year. At the beginning of this year, I struggled with health issues - physically and mentally. I suffered from depression and anxiety, and I had no idea what to do with my life. But it even got worse. This summer, I went on vacation to relax for one last time before I started a new job. My boyfriend and I spent four days abroad before my dad called me, telling me that our house burnt down. My first sentence was, “You’re joking, aren’t you?” But he wasn’t joking. I can’t remember the rest of the day anymore. All I know is that it felt so unreal. It even felt unreal when I first saw the ruins and the result of a massive fire. I didn’t recognize my home, even if I lived there for years. The following months were the biggest challenge ever. I started a new job two weeks after the fire, and I was constantly struggling between a new work environment and living in a holiday flat, not knowing what would happen next. After moving into our new house, we realized quickly that all our belongings were missing. They turned our previous house into a home, and now, everything was gone. This year could have been better. Of course, there were still good moments, and sometimes I felt happy. But overall, I am glad to say Goodbye to 2023. Next year, I want to get back my life. I want to be happy and joyful again. I wanna enjoy my life and share this journey with you. I want to show you that life can be hard, but there is never a reason to give up on the beauty of our life - and I had plenty of reasons. I wish you all a happy, healthy new year. And always reminder: dark times will disappear someday. Trust me.
