What’s an international song contest without a slightly overcomplicated voting procedure? Nothing, of course. So we’ve devised a beautiful system for you all.

The ranking is decided by the NGBs and split into the jury vote and the public vote. Neither the jury nor the viewers can vote for their own NGB. As always, the maximum number of points is 12, followed by 10, and 8–1 points.

The jury scoring ranks are split into music-only and video-only. The jury hands in their scores beforehand (Saturday 5:30 pm UTC+2)

The viewers judge the video and the music at the same time. Viewers from “rest of the world”, aka from NGBs without a participating act, can vote for anybody. These “rest of the world” will be treated at 1 NGB for our ranking system. The "rest of the world" does not have a jury. Only public votes will count

The jury from the participating countries will be called in to present the points once the viewers have cast their votes.

After the presentation of the scores from the juries, the televoting points from all participating countries PLUS the rest of the world will be combined, providing one score for each song. These televoting results will then be announced by the presenters, and we will have our winner!

Seasoned Eurovision watchers are probably familiar with the format: a short video that shows the contestant(s) in their usual habitat doing everyday things. The NGBs have received resource packages with examples, background music file and other requirements for the video - if you plan to compete, get in touch with your NGB and request more information!

The deadline to hand in the postcards is May 21st.

Deutscher Quidditchbund, Česká asociace famfrpálu / Czech Quidditch Association, Quidditch Nederland, Asociación Quidditch España, Schweizerischer Quidditchverband and Polska Liga Quidditcha have already signed up to participate in the 2021 Qeurovision Song Contest!

All tried and true veterans of last year's event, we are beyond happy to welcome you again! If your NGB is not among those mentioned and you would like to submit a song, get them to signal their interest - the deadline is midnight tonight!

(Rough) timeline and rules, yay! We've opened up the restrictions a bit, so this year original works not related to Quidditch are also allowed! Only caveat: they need to be the work of a member of the quidditch community.
We have sent an invitation to all NGBs - if you want to take part in the contest, signal your interest and get them to sign up! Other than that: Be creative and prepare for your days of Qeurovision fame 🥳🎡

We don't know about you, but we'd love to see another edition of , especially now covid doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon and a lot of quidditch countries can't hold practices.

Cindy Callens and Joke Daems will no longer be hosting, but our tech wizard behind the scenes Laurens Grinwis Plaat Stultjes has offered his invaluable support to the next organisers. Who's ready to take over? Deutscher Quidditchbund, will you take up te challenge in true Eurovision fashion as last year's winners?

For those of you asking about the opening act, it was the song "Beautiful the World", which won the Eurovision AI competition this year. We received the kind permission from the creators Uncanny Valley to include it in our show. Performance by the incredibly talented Katya Veleva (who does her own makeup, costumes, concept development, etc.)
