The developers behind Crystal Lagoons, Island Resort -- a large entertainment district with a 10-acre lagoon proposed in Glendale -- are partnering with Mattel, Inc. to open an adventure park with a Hot Wheels-themed roller coaster, indoor go-karts, and a Thomas & Friends indoor attraction.

“She's a 1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan. Chopped 6 inches, channelled 4 inches, and 3 more inches cut of the bottom of the car. Rides on air, and lays on frame. Powered by a 6.0 LS3, carbed with a 750 double pump. Using a Turbo 400 transmission, hooked up to a Ford 9 inch with 411 gears. Just a fun cruiser!!”

Do you ever ponder which came first, the chicken or the egg? How about the El Camino or the Ranchero. You may hear differing opinions from Chevy and Ford Owners! But Pink Slips has the answer. :)

The Chevy El Camino was introduced as as response to the success of the Ranchero that Ford released in 1959. It only lasted two years as there wasn't enough popularity for the El Camino and was overshadowed by the Ranchero. Production of the El Camino wouldn't resume until 1964.
