This page will bring you ample of information about the United States of Wolaita, the East African country located at the great rift Valley of East Africa.

The united states of Wolaita is a country, on the down stream of Uma river, in which have diverse cultures and people of different origin are united. The name Wolaita driven from the omotic language "Wolahetta" which means united, so Wolaita means united people.

Prior to the subjugation of Wolaita to Ethiopian empire, the people had one of Ancient kingdom called Damot , one of the civilized state which had its own currency.

We will bring you here more about this great country.

As a country Ethiopia is predominantly humiliates Wolaita as a nation.

Ethiopia persistently denied our constitutional quest for self- determination.

Ethiopia denied us the right for equal development, by preventing investment and industry park not to be built in Wolaita.

Ethiopia humiliates our culture and want to eliminate our identity as a people.

How ever , today Ethiopia stand as a country because of the service of our men and women in Ethiopian defence Force.

The State of Wolaita will reverse the dignity of the people and works to tackle this evil policy against the people and state of Wolaita.
