Look lads.. Seriously if you are thinking of going to your poxy Holiday home because its so unfair that you can't go down and water the f**king flowers in your Waterford holiday home due to the inconvenience of an Pandemic.. F**k you.. Its arsebandits like you that will drag this thing out. At this rate Id be in support of limiting petrol and diesel and garages to delivery companies and front line workers.. Two weeks.. But everytime people wander out for a 30km cycle or a day trip to the mountains, an extra two weeks will be lobbed on to stay on lockdown. So do us a favour and put yourselves in an induced coma so the rest of us can do our bit so we can get to the other side.. Signed the other half of humanity

So it's St Patrick's day. But in future perhaps it will be known as the day or celebration when the world was united under one common enemy. We are all soldiers in this war and our part of this war is to remain socially isolated, wash our hands and stay home if possible. Our front line staff need to concentrate all their attention on fighting this invading force. So on this St Patrick's day I offer a Coffee toast to our Nurses, Doctors, Gardai and Defence Forces who are tirelessly fighting this invading force putting their lives on hold, putting their lives at risk in order to protect us all.
I also offer a toast to the Airport Workers, Public Transport workers who are working through this to get people home to their families, Businesses who are donating food, equipment and services to the war effort.
And finally I offer a toast to you, all of you . "Humanity" we will get through this.
The anxiety, the panic, the unknown we are all feeling this now.
But the main thing is we will pull through this and once this passes hopefully we will finally realise the race, gender, political view, able, disabled etc.. Differences we obsessed with in the last world will not return in the next.
Be safe, be kind and look out for eachother

I'm on a bus going to work now. Early morning work shift. Due to the nature of my job I cannot work at home. But there are drunks on board, hugging eachother... Lads seriously grow the f**k up. Pull your heads out of your arses and stop needlessly putting everybody at risk. Absolute arseholes.. I don't want to be on this bus, only that I have to.

Yesterday...Ireland joined in the "End of the world". The end of the world we lived in yesterday and the transition period we are in now. Everybody must be thinking..Today was a day, a generic day.
The loss of a world we all knew but must face the reality of what comes next.
Some of us remain in denial but whatever the outcome, our future is brighter than ever and we will prevail. We will protect each other. Regardless of race, gender or beliefs...We all have a duty to protect those who are vulnerable. Please treat this seriously, not as an excuse to go on the p**s up.
Lose the self entitlement and grow up. Act like an adult.
We are not living in a disaster movie even though it feels it.
Here at the Rant Shack, we will try get as much out as possible but with everything going on we may need to park the usual content of podcasts and switch to smaller clips plus posts here. But we will be back in the new world, the better, fairer, cleaner world, we must now create.

Be safe and look after each other.

I think it's time to re watch world war z or at least read the Novels again. I for one don't have an ounce of faith in the HSE. So to entrust an incompetent organisation to protect us from a virus at pandemic levels would be very Foolish. If this thing does go full pandemic are Irelands businesses prepared to allow their employees work from home or allow employees to stay at home without punishing them. Thus is the delicate situation that works in favour of the virus people afraid to self isolate due to the inability to live with out wages. It's not like your gas company or electric company or even landlord or bank will say "Due to an international emergency we will not cut gas or electricity or destroy your credit rating" Very unlikely.
Look after each other.. This could go seriously south

Isn't it great that certain elements of our society are able to race horses down major roads without any repercussions whatsoever. We have a major crime problem in this country and we do sweet f**k all to address it. Unless you don't tax your car or pay your TV licence.. Then it's capital punishment. A future Rant. "The Lawless Island" if anyone wants to submit any experiences of our lawless island get in touch and we may mention them, obviously anonymously when reading out to where it has happened 👍

So with the Mainstream media back in the spotlight let's have a little think about what benefit these drug dealers of misinformation, lies and damaging s**te they spew on minute by minute basis. They are the ones feeding the wars, feeding the divisions in society, feeding non issues and elevating them to issues which benefit them. You consume their dangerous drug on a daily basis not realising just how addicted you are. Whether it be politics, natural diasters, wars or even sports.
So f**k them! Stop buying their s**t. Stop living under the guise of "Fear". They want you to Fear everything... F**k them and their constant bulls**t... Could be a full podcast on the "War against the Media"
