For comics, the laziest way is to just pick on the audience and roast them (not unless you picked on a heckler, they deserve it).

Making your own jokes from scratch is really hard. I mean, ask my mother, one of the funniest person I know. She had this build-up for a joke where she had to deal with my father and carry my brother for nine months... then she had to do it all over again.
