Wow! This week's schedule is a doozy! As always with SCARE-A-THON week, we try to give y'all plenty of chances to see our S-A-T films if you can't catch 'em all in one sitting. That adds up to a LOT of monster movies starting on Friday. So here's our schedule for the full week. AND...if you do plan on coming out on Saturday, remember that you can buy our All-Day Pass (we'll post another link soon), OR you can buy tickets at the door for individual films. Roughly 10 years ago a friend sent me one of Ross's video's from YouTube with a note that said "I think this may be what is wrong with your husband, I think you should do what he says in this video."

1> Don't unmask them.
2> Make a quiet plan to leave, then leave quietly.

I couldn't find any more information on the subject, not even or martial counselors had a clue what I was talking about. "Your making them out to be a monster- why?" is what one of our counselors said to me. Eventually I did what happens to most victims, start believing it was all me and all inside my head. But after a while, each therapist began to see his true colors and he'd make up reasons to find someone new.

A few years of this and we were interviewing yet another marriage counselor/therapist. With this new person, after our first session together and during my first one one one she flat out told me she would not work with us "The problem isn't you, it's him and I won't be able to work with him. At the end of my rope, without thinking or using filters I just said flat out "Is it because he's a covert narcissist?"

She asked where I had heard that term, I told it it was Ross Rosenberg, I found him on YouTube thanks to a friend. But no one knows what I'm talking about when I try to explain, no one had had heard of him. Her response was "Yes. My work in NY was all people on the narcissistic scale (I perked up, she knew there was a scale!). I can't help you other than confirm you this Rosenburg guy is correct, you need to take the kids and get out as fast & quietly as possible."

It was Ross's brave video nearly 10 years ago, a voice in the wilderness, that gave me the information I needed to be able to put to words what was happening so that I could use my voice to save myself & my kids.

This collaboration between Dr. Rosenberg & Dr. Carter makes me so happy. If you or someone you know is dealing with a narcissist, you'll want to watch this.
