𝗔 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 - 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀!

Made for the Sydney Underground Film Festival's Take48 Competition - a 48 Hour film making challenge that was difficult to accomplish this year as the Gimble crew were in lockdown. Using Adobe Character animator, and with a special thanks to Okay Samurai, we were able to pull off a 3 minute cut of the film for the festival by driving animated characters using audio recordings and blend it with live action!

This version is the extended cut, unabridged and including all the parts we had to remove because they didn’t fit in the 3 minute cutoff!

Three years ago, Tom and Dom of Gimble Productions filmed an ill-fated short called 'WEIGHTS'. Though the intention was to create a short film, the footage was never seen by the public, was never finished, and almost lost to time. Until now…

Introducing the brand new, recut pilot episode of our new Gimble Productions web series, 'WEIGHTS'!

This prologue episode takes place and uses the footage shot in 2018, and the story will continue in our to-be-made future planned episodes!

One year before Gimble was established, Dom and I set out to make a horror comedy as a tribute to the films we made as kids. Blood Moon ended up being as fun to shoot as it was to write and edit - but the visuals never met up with those I had in my head.

Until now...

SLOW is a short film that examines the feelings of loss, grief, and overcoming pain - through time.

Originally made several years ago but never released, deep from the Gimble Productions archive, SLOW is an experimental, no-dialogue short film incorporating slow motion and real-time footage to seamlessly create the world of a grieving man.

Keep an eye out for the SUBTLE slow moving details that capture these ideas! The best way to do that, of course, is to watch it over on our Youtube page in a WHOPPING 5K resolution! Link in the comments!
