Last May 7, 2024, the halls of BSU's E-library came alive with a celebration of creativity, talent, and art. It was a vibrant showcase, where the College of Architecture and Fine Arts teamed up with Marcelo H. Del Pilar's Arts and Design students to exhibit a wide array of talents in both performing and visual arts Everywhere you looked, there were stunning creations: intricately designed dresses, captivating paintings, lifelike sculptures, mesmerizing photography, and unique accessories, each telling its own story. Amidst the bustling crowd, artists passionately explained their work, sharing the inspiration behind each piece a shared appreciation for the beauty and diversity of human creativity.

Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) joined forces to perform at Robinsons Place Malolos in commemoration of the declaration of the First Philippine Republic on January 23, 1899. This event held special significance as it paid homage to its historical place, the Barasoain Church in the City of Malolos, Bulacan.

Robinsons Place Malolos was filled with excitement and emotion as the grade 11 Del Pilarians delivered powerful performances interpreting Teodoro Agoncillo's "Republikang Basahan" and Aurelio Alvero's "Cry Freedom" (1896).

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the winners of the 76th annual Hunger Games”

The sparks of passion and camaraderie were ignited last January 5 as the year of 2024 opened with Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School's (MHPNHS) very own adaptation of the award winning trilogy “Hunger Games” written by Suzanne Collins. This event took place promoting the theme of "LITERATE: Literary Inspiration and Theme Exploration, Richness Amidst Textual Endeavors” and giving senior high school (SHS) students the opportunity to develop their creativity and deeper understanding of literature.

All section from grade 12 STEM, 12 ABM, 12 AAD, 12 TVL and 11 HUMSS grasp toward the concept of the book and 12 district was measured as they were given each district to represent with their very own tributes.

The tributes coming from each district participated in a parade and performed an imaginary skit that symbolizes the colorful district they belong to. Despite the wonderful and beyond expectations performance of each section, winners were selected from the tributes.

Hope, it is the only thing greater than fear.

Fresh start of the year as the "LITERATE: Literary Inspiration and Theme Exploration, Richness Amidst Textual Endeavors" will be taking place, to open an avenue for Grade 12 students of Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) to adapt Suzanne Collins' gripping trilogy "Hunger Games”. The Grade 12 Del Pilarians will be experiencing the extremes of the fictional survival game's 12 outlying districts firsthand! This raises the spirits of survival in the most inventive way possible while teaching literary knowledge in an entertaining way!

This event is going to demonstrate the Grade 12 Delpi Community students' literary competence while also demonstrating their respective outstanding innovation per section in understanding the different personalities, districts, and tales in the Hunger Games. As the Delpi Community's love of reading and literary advancement flourish, LITERATE is bound to grow and begin!

Having different kinds of delicious food on the table for Noche Buena is what our fellow countrymen practices. P**o Bumbong and Bibingka are the most awaited food after we attend a mass to honor God in our lives in the Simbang Gabi. This is our tradition to connect with the realm and remember the true meaning of Christmas in our lives.

Our sole purpose in celebrating this Holiday Season is to commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We may reflect on his birth as the symbol of hope, love, and affection of humanity. The warmth of your heart and spirit will kindle the fire of hospitality. SOAR HIGH, DEL PILARIANS! 🔥

Last December 11-12, the MHPNHS community held Celo's Sports Fest 2023 — the most awaited event in the school. There are a lot of activities, including basketball, volleyball, arnis, badminton, billiards, taekwondo, gymnastics, chess, dancesports, lawn tennis, table tennis, swimming, sepak takraw, futsal, and wrestling.

Del Pilarians were witnessed giving their loudest screams, cheers, and support to their representatives during the competitions. And players having the desire to win, they were seen giving their best, passion, and everything to the games they joined.

Services and goods that are enjoyable, delectable, thrilling, and soothing are offered as part of the Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) Education Week JHS and SHS Bazaar Exhibit 2023 last December 11–12. This was made possible by variety of Del Pilarians and representatives from Malolos City High School in the school bazaar exhibits.

The school bazaar was visited by the Public School District Supervisor, Melandro Pascual together with Dr. Ma. Victoria C. Vivo MHPNHS Secondary School Principal IV and Head Teachers. The MHPNHS featured some of the top and innovative business ideas of Del Pilarians from Grade 12 Senior High School students, including DinoBitez, Buko Sheesh Pie, photo booths, variety of Pinoy inspired stickers, research stalls, massage booths and other stalls run by students from MCHS.

Let us applaud a pleasant and productive bazaar exhibit and show our support for the creative and locally produced goods and services offered by the Delpi Community!

Sportsmanship of Delpi Community arises this Opening Ceremony of MHPNHS Intramurals 2023 at Bulacan Sports Complex this December 11.

The opening ceremony started with a parade of players from all levels that filled with complex with chants. Packed with students supporting their fellow classmates for intramurals, with full force of support and excitement for the upcoming games this December 11 - 12. The Principal IV of MHPNHS, Dr. Ma. Victoria C. Vivo announced the intramurals 2023 officially opened, that filled the Del Pilarians a burning of desire to win.

The Department of Education's momentous tree planting event at the Jica Building last December 6 marked a significant Christmas gift for children, symbolizing hope and environmental stewardship.

With YES-O MHPNHS leading the charge, five of the 236,000 trees targeted by DepEd took root in the school's premises.

Thanks to the dedication of Sir Billy Panganiban, Ma’am Gladys Glo Bondoc, and Dr. Ma. Victoria Vivo, among other passionate participants, a sustainable future for our children is continuously fostered and nurtured.

Del Pilarians Bagging Nationals 🔥

The Del Pilarians showcased their skills in Sabayang Pagbikas in the 6th National Peacetival of Talents and Valtues (Values and Virtues) with the theme, "MATATAG: Cultivating Values and Peace Towards Sustainable Excellence". This event aims to promote good values of peace in the community. The National Competition was held in Zoom today, December 02, 2023, and hosted by UNESCO-APNIEVE Philippines.

Congratulations to our competing team for being 4th Place in the said competition. We are so proud of what we've accomplished. You win our hearts and you've fought a good fight. Bringing honor to the whole institution of Marcelo H. Del Pilar High School is such good work.

We would like to acknowledge the coaches who instilled knowledge and skills in our dear participants. Thank you so much to Ma'am Regina G. Fundano, Sir Pat Jason Reyes, and Sir Frederick Macale. Your dedication and pursuit of teaching them the right skills resulted in their reaping success.
