Evening stroll at Haukland beach ✨

If mountains are for challenges and adventures, beaches are for relaxation and peace. Nothing beats the feeling of walking around on the sand, chasing to find the most beautiful shell 🐚 I could do that for hours and hours.

The fishing cottages in Å ❤️

There’s just something about these red houses that is so typical for Lofoten. When I see them, my mind immediately wanders to the feeling of salty, costal winds from the Atlantic Ocean. I love them! ❤️

Moving away before winter starts 🪶

I’ve seen birds in very precise positions whilst flying to warmer temperatures. Like an arrows head, or a v. But this particular morning was actually the first time I saw the birds crash into each other and break the pattern. It looked very funny through the camera, but I’m sure they didn’t appreciate it as much 🙈

Morning dances 🕷️

Spiders create the most beautiful art with their nets. I find it so fascinating how they do it, and that not a single one looks the same. It’s stunning isn’t it?

Misty mountains ⛰️

Trollveggen is such an iconic spot in Norway, and seeing it covered in fog, made the experience even more memorable. It was awesome.

The long way from home ✨

Norway offers some of the best roads in terms of scenic surroundings. The Atlantic Ocean road is one of those places, with beautiful views over the waters.

Beautiful Kvalvika beach 🏝️

Behind rocks and muddy paths, one will find this beauty hidden amongst mountains. A white beach, where the Lofoten islands look out over the Atlantic Ocean.

It’s a very popular and stunning place. There’s no doubt why so many tourists go here every year. Kvalvika is magical 🧡✨

The chill animals of Bodø 🩵

Rest is important, and animals seem to be better at it than humans sometimes. The sheep and seabirds in Norway showed that a little break here and there, is not that bad after all.

This weekend I think I’ll do just that!

Golden Gate ✨

When the rays from the sunset hits the Lofoten islands, something magical happens. The sky and the mountains turn into gold 💛

Loved to see the sunset from the boat. It really gave this panorama view over the islands, with pink and golden skies as a beautiful touch.

The encounter 🩵

Every now and then, I believe it’s good for the heart to encounter something bigger than yourself, just to stay humble here on earth. Watching these majestic creatures is a great way to do just that.

Don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing whales! 🐋

Golden streams ✨

Somewhere by the road amongst trees and mountains, one will find Laksforsen. A beautiful, but violent stream in the middle of Norway.

This was one of our “not-planned-stops” during our roadtrip in Norway. A very good one! 👌🏼

Nusfjord, the museum town 💛

This old fishing village was a very cute place, with lots of yellow huts surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was so wonderful to just sit there in the sun and feel the warm light in our faces. A good place for rest and relaxation I must say ☀️

Lovatnet 🩵

It’s both emerald green and turquoise at the same time. This stunning lake in Norway captivates a lot of people, including me. It’s simply stunning!

Next trip to Norway, I would like to spend a little bit more time here. Enjoy the view to the fullest, and maybe even take a cold swim?

The old lighthouse take two 💡

But this one you’ll find in Bodø! Bodø is a town that has more to offer than one might think. Saltstraumen, Keiservarden, Mjelle to name a few of the golden spots.

This lighthouse is located next to one of those three places. Can you guess which one? 😉

The old lighthouse in Bukkekjerka💡

Far, far away, somewhere in Norway, one will find this old, rusty lighthouse. It faces the Atlantic Ocean and all the cold winds from the sea. I don’t know how many years it has been there, but somewhere along the road it retired. The work of bringing light to ships was handed over to a new lighthouse instead.

Bukkekjerka is a fascinating place where the old meets the new, but the work is still the same as it’s always been: To warn and guide ships on the stormy seas.

These views from Reinebringen never ceases to amaze me 🩵

During grey and rainy days like today, I get a little bit extra warm within while looking at pictures from Lofoten, Norway. No wonder it’s one of the most beautiful places on the earth ✨

The beautiful village of Å, Lofoten 🇳🇴

This village is located south of Lofoten Islands, and everywhere you see there are these red, iconic fishing huts. It’s an incredibly cute village ❤️

Spending time here is time well spent!

Trollstigen ⛰️

I remember that I was very sick that day, so walking to the viewpoint required all the strength that was left in the tank. But, we made it to the view of this iconic place in Norway. And yes, it was quite awesome.

Sick or not, I think this place brings fascination to every one who sees it!
