Kenya Police unveils new uniform designs, invites their feedback.
The National Police Service this morning unveiled the new uniform designs that will replace the current royal blue regalia, which was introduced in 2018. Different versions of the uniform are currently on display at the Police Pavilion in South C, where officers and members of the public are invited to view them and give their views.

DCI Launches Manhunt For Rowdy Protestors Captured During Monday's Azimio Demonstrations.

"The criminals who took advantage of the demonstrations were captured on camera destroying public property, attacking innocent members of the public and hurling projectiles at police officers who were on duty protecting life and property.

As a result, property of unknown value was destroyed while a total of 33 officers suffered injuries of various degrees and some are still recuperating at various hospitals in the city. A firearm whose magazine was loaded with 15 rounds of 9mm caliber was also lost by one of our officers, after he was attacked by a gang of a well coordinated riotous mob, as the officers prevented destruction of public property in Embakasi area of Nairobi County"

Pastor closes down church after winning 100 million (equivalent to Ksh 3,480,000) through sports betting.

A Ugandan pastor, David Ochieng has abandoned his ministerial work after hitting a huge sum of money through sports betting. According to neighbors, man of God held several outdoor crusades in the area, where he narrated how he had a divine encounter with the Almighty. He also performed healing miracles.

When he realized that he is now 100 million Ugandan shillings richer, he closed down the building and left members of his congregation stranded when they came for midweek service.

The clergyman was contacted and he confessed that the reason he chose to work in the vineyard of God was strictly to earn income to survive and not because he was called. Ochieng further described the winning as a blessing from God and a swift way to get him out of poverty he was in because he could not sustain himself with money from his poor congregation.

A family house near Olepolos Water Project, Olepolos sub location was damaged by a track ferrying building materials to a site in the area.

The vehicle is claimed to have veered off the narrow road serving the community water project and other area residents.

Oloolua Location Senior Chief Moses Mpesha and the Chairman of the Area Security Committee were commended by area residents for responding to the scene very quickly after the property owner requested for help from neighbours.

Traffic police visited the scene. The lorry will remain at the scene untill today in the morning when it will be taken to Ngong police station for thorough inspection.

A woman only identified as Mercy is believed to have falsely accused her area chief of ra**ng her, after her husband discovered that the two have been having a clandestine sexual affair.

In a serious case lodged at Londiani police station on Tuesday afternoon, the woman from Kimasian location who was accompanied by her husband alleged that the area chief had stormed her homestead earlier in the day and ordered her out of the house.

She further alleged that when she obliged, the chief then forced her into a nearby maize plantation where he r***d her repeatedly. Detectives launched immediate investigations into the serious allegations against the local administrator.

The Londiani based sleuths discovered that Mercy and the Chief had been in a relationship and for a period of time, they had been exchanging missives laced with sweet nothings. On the day the chief is alleged to have r***d Mercy, the two were in constant communication and had agreed to meet at their usual place. “Let’s meet hapo mahindi yenu,” read one of the messages sent by the Chief on Sunday.

On Tuesday another message from the chief followed “nimekuwekea kitu tupatane I give you....” This message was to confirm an Mpesa transaction of Sh327 that the chief had transacted in favour of the woman.

It is these secret messages and others dating as far much back as August, that Mercy’s husband stumbled upon, and discovered that his wife had been secretly having steamy encounters with the chief in a nearby maize plantation, that provided perfect cover for their illicit activities.

In order to get back at the chief, Mercy was compelled to file a trumped-up report against him, in a case that has attracted a lot of interest in Cheptagulgei village.

However, after detectives conducted their detailed analysis and investigations including a visit to the alleged scene of the incident, they discovered that Mercy’s claims were inconsistent and not supported by facts at the scene.

The investigators also retrieved Mpesa transactions detailing how the woman had been receiving money from the chief after every illicit encounter the had, since July. These among other revelations in the possession of our detectives, including how the woman’s husband lured the Chief through text messages to meet with his wife seriously casted doubt on the woman’s allegations that the Chief had indeed brutally dragged her into the maize plantation and forced himself on her.

This is to advise members of the public that r**e is a serious offence under the sexual offenses act, that attracts a heavy penalty of up-to life in prison.

While we encourage victims of any form of sexual abuse to make their reports for our immediate action, we equally caution the public against making false allegations against any individual to get back at them.

KBC journalist Purity Museo has asked Kenyans to help her report a stranger who has been insistently tagging her in posts revealing that he is thirsting for her.

Purity said the man has her photos in his room.

"I need help to stop this man. He has my photos in his room and when I block him he creates new accounts and tags me in such posts.," she wrote.

High Court judge Teresia Matheka has declared that being a housewife should be considered a full-time job since housewives offer full-time services at home.

Her ruling elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans.

Kiprotich Mosh: "If being a housewife should be declared a payable job, then we demand women to write for us application letters requesting to be our wives. All academic credentials and additional skills should be included. A university also in Kenya should be established that educates housewives because I can't settle for anything less than a Bachelors degree in home and husband affairs management."

A man who had gone to visit his lover this morning lost his life after he was attacked by another man believed to be the woman’s ex boyfriend.

John Tagei, 34, had been ushered by Loise Kanini to her house at around 7am, immediately after Kanini’s son left for school. After a while, Kanini noticed that her son had left his keys at home. She went after him leaving Tagei in the house.

On her way back, she met her ex boyfriend Joseph Macharia, 33, who stopped her and demanded to know why she had hosted another man in her house. Kanini retorted that following their breakup, she had moved on with her life and the man inside her house had since taken her heart captive.

This made Macharia so enraged that he stormed Kanini’s house with fury and attacked Tagei, who had already made himself comfortable.

What followed was a confrontation that turned ugly, leaving Tagei with life threatening injuries. He was rushed to Wangige level IV hospital in critical condition by Kanini and other well-wishers. However his condition worsened and he was transferred to PCEA Thogoto hospital where unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Crime scene detectives documented the scene as their Kabete based counterparts launched a manhunt for Macharia, to answer to murder charges.
