SERIKON blends Renaissance music with contemporary compositions to create a unique musical experience. 🎶🌊

Led by Daniel Stighäll, their production ACQUA ALTA explores the rising waters of Venice, blending the city's rich history with urgent, modern-day reflections.

This album features iconic Renaissance composers like Gabrieli, Merulo and Willaert, alongside early baroque works and new pieces from Swedish composer Jan Sandström and British composer Alexander Campkin.

Together, they paint a vivid picture of Venice’s past and present, while reminding us of our planet’s future.

AVIAJA is a musical meeting between two of Scandinavia’s most prominent jazz musicians: Anders Jormin and Severi Pyysalo. They work all over the world, and are spoken of with respect and admiration by a large audience as well as by critics and fellow musicians.

This is a collection of original compositions, along with a selection of their favorite songs by two of the greatest lyricists in music history: Silvio Rodríguez from Cuba and Vladimir Vysotsky from the former Soviet Union. 🌍🎤

SIMULTAN KRIPPENSPIEL – CHRISTMAS ACCORDING TO DADA is an amazing version of the Gospel of Luke by the Swedish composer Pär Olofsson, for 12 voices, an instrumental ensemble and pre-recorded sound effects.

This piece is based on a manuscript by Hugo Ball, prepared for his Grand Soirée in the early summer of 1916. Astonishingly, one of the acts was a Nativity play: Simultan Krippenspiel – Concert Bruitiste.

The script consisted of one page of the traditional story of the birth of Christ from the Gospel of Luke, while the following page had lines for the familiar characters of Joseph, Mary, the Angel, the Shepherds, and soon – in gibberish. Sound and light effects were spelled out onomatopoetically and were performed by the actors with their voices or by using props.

A SPOTLESS ROSE is a solemn and beautifully crafted CD featuring a blend of classical and new Nordic Christmas music. ✨

This collection touches on the themes of Advent, the birth of Jesus, and the Virgin Mary, performed by the award-winning choir SOFIA VOKALENSEMBLE.

One of the highlights of the album is Silent Night, arranged by Fredrik Sixten, where he adds a hauntingly beautiful melody called Mary’s Lullaby to a poem by Bo Setterlind.

TURBULENS is music for the hard core modern jazz enthusiast. A crossover project where 10 art music composers wrote music for 10 music reading improvisation musicians. 🌪🎶

The creators envisaged an encounter between art music and improvised music where the result would be more than a genre fusion – the intention was to derive the benefits of the unique skills of each group, the composers and the improvisers, to create new music through hybridisation. And it worked!

Composer Anders Hultqvist found that some of the Swedish singer-songwriter Olle Adolphson’s songs and poems, in a natural way, could be inserted into the traditional mass for the dead.

In this requiem – TIME PASSES IN THE TREES – Hultqvist has consequently joined Adolphson’s songs with old Gregorian melodies and self-penned material. The lyrics deal with the passing of time, mortality and remembrance, often with nature as a backdrop.

The piece is performed by the Rilke Ensemble from Göteborg with the chamber orchestra Musica Vitae from Växjö.

WALLPAPER STORIES is the debut album from the duo Josef & Erika, filled with pristine melodies, influenced by jazz and pop.

This album gives us virtuoso, sensitive and unique interpretations as well as the duo’s own songs and conversational improvisations, occasionally seasoned with vocal harmony or steel guitar, trumpet and bass clarinet.

The witty Swedish poet and musician Carl Michael Bellman never ceases to fascinate.

The album MOVITZ is a wonderful tribute to Bellman’s most colourful character: Movitz.

His fortunes and misfortunes are presented by the expressive voice of Mikael Samuelson, accompanied by Bengan Jansson on accordion and Björn Ståbi on violin.
