API 2500 zoekt een nieuwe thuis.

Ik heb deze prachtige compressor in Januari gekocht. Heb hier fantastische shows en een heel leuke tour mee mogen doen. Ondanks het prachtige resultaat zoekt het nu een nieuwe eigenaar omdat ik wil overschakelen naar plug-ins. En mijn setup wil vereenvoudigen.

Hij is momenteel binnen in herstellingen voor een nazicht en een calibratie om hem in een nieuwstaat bij de nieuwe eigenaar af te leveren. Na een tour laat ik graag mijn gear even nakijken op eventuele slijtage. Een echte health checkup.

API 2500 te koop. Momenteel in onderhoud voor een korte nazicht na de tour. Hardware laat ik graag na een tour nakijken op eventuele herstellingen /

Last week was pretty epic! I had the opportunity to follow a workshop led by Karel Will, organised by Betterlive.be. Thanks to my good friend Simon Bouttens I was ready to dive into these heavy subjects. Well,... They are when you start out. Believe me, learning about design, optimisation, and measurements have been the most exciting thing from the last quarter of 2022. If you think about it, you will definitely understand why for me as a mixing engineer it is equally important to know how a system works, how you can design it and how to optimize it as well.

After two days of studying in Brugge it was time to have some fun at ESNS Groningen with Cobra The Impaler. WHAT A SHOW,... Damn,... Thank you for the great organisation and crew working at Eurosonic.

And last but not least, Lennert Baerts his new project Profound Observer released their first record, recorded and mixed by yours truly. If you have the time, go and check them out, they are going on tour with JazzLab any time soon now I believe.
