Meet one of the hosts!
Bethann Coldiron was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She started riding at a young age at an English barn. After taking a break from riding to focus on her training as a classical musician, Bethann was able to start riding again in her late teens. She briefly rode Saddlebreds and grew to develop a deep love for the breed. At 20, her mother surprised her with her first horse, a little flea-bitten grey Arabian.
Bethann now focuses on ranch pleasure, ranch riding and ranch trail on the Appaloosa circuit. She has a 4-year-old appy gelding, Knight In White (whose barn name is Monty), and another 4-year-old Palomino named Louis.
Bethann has an A.A.S. in equine science from Weatherford College and a B.S. in journalism from Tarleton State University. In college she had an agriculture radio show. She worked in mainstream news as a reporter, and later in her career as an editor and has won several awards for feature writing.
She currently lives outside of Little Rock, Arkansas, with her husband of five years, Tyler Brantley, who is an officer in the Air Force.
🎙Fun fact! Bethann is a self-proclaimed nerd. One of her favorite podcasts is “The Adventure Zone,” a Dungeons and Dragons style podcast by the McElroy brothers.
