I know it can be so tempting when you start your campaigns to check them constantly to see what kind of results you're getting. But you have to have patience!

Giving your Facebook ads time to work is so important!

As long as it's not a really short campaign that's only scheduled to run for a few days, give your campaigns at least 3 days to start showing you some results that you can work with.

This can be pretty hard if you're seeing some initial numbers that freak you out and make you want to turn things off or change things in your campaigns but most of the time you'll find that after a few days, things will change and you'll be able to make much better decisions about how to optimize your ads.

Do you have 2-factor authentication set on your Facebook account, Instagram account, and Facebook Business Manager? If you don't, PLEASE stop what you're doing and set this up right now. Even if you think you have already done it, just do a quick check to ensure that it's set up.

Hackers have been relentless lately. Setting up 2-factor authentication will make it way harder for them to gain access to your accounts and completely take them over.

👉 On Facebook, go to your Settings > Security and Login > Two-factor authentication > turn it on and follow the steps.

👉 On Instagram, go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication > Get Started > then follow the steps.

👉 In Business Manager, go to Business Settings > Security Center > Two-Factor Authentication > then follow the steps. I recommend that you choose ""Everyone"" in the drop-down menu under the question, ""Who's required to turn on two-factor authentication?""

Another tip I'll give you is to be very careful with any emails that you receive from Facebook or Instagram. They can look 100% real but are actually phishing emails. One way you can tell is by the email address they're sent from.

This just happened to a client of mine. She received the official looking email, clicked through to complete what they asked her to do, and within minutes her Facebook account, Instagram, and Business Manager were no longer accessible to her.

All of that hard work of growing her accounts over the years, gone within minutes.

She's now going through the painful process of trying to get it all back. It could take MONTHS of trying and there isn't a guarantee that she even will get it back.

This could happen to any of us so be very cautious with any emails you receive because if you click through, even 2-factor authentication can't save you.

So please 🙏 take these steps and be safe!

If you're not an advertiser but you have an Apple device, you'll soon be given the option on your phone to allow tracking or not allow tracking. This is a personal choice, but I'm all for knowing what you're actually getting when you opt-in or out of something.

Not allowing tracking does NOT mean that you won't be tracked at all or that you will no longer see ads. You'll still see ads but if you don't allow tracking you're probably going to start seeing ads that aren't as relevant to you as they once were.

In my opinion, if I'm going to see ads I'd much rather see ads for things that are really relevant to me. I've purchased plenty of things from ads on FB and IG that I might not have seen if that ad hadn't been targeted to me. So for me, I'd allow tracking.

I'd love to know your thoughts and opinions on this. And let me know if you have any questions about Apple's iOS 14.5 Update.

These 5 online tools make life so much easier for me every day.

⭐️ Canva - It's easy to use and you can get by with using just the free version. I recently upgraded to the paid version, but it's totally not necessary so get by with the free version for as long as you can.

⭐️ Slack - Once you get the hang of it, it's so easy to use and you can use the free version for a really long time before you need to upgrade. I'm part of 5 different Slack workspaces and the phone app makes it really easy to switch between them.

⭐️ ClickUp - Such a great project management software. Very easy to use and it can help you organize everything! You can even track your time in different tasks.

⭐️ Creator Studio - If you're not ready to pay for Later, Planoly, etc., creator studio is a great free FB and IG scheduling tool.

⭐️ Honeybook - This is a really easy CRM to set up and use. I completely set up Dubsado and then was so frustrated that I switched over to Honeybook when someone else showed me how easy it was to use.
