Hello and Welcome! My name is Sam Fleming and I am the owner and founder of GSF Creative. This is my story...
Ever since I was in junior high, I was fascinated with the creative process. In high school I started making videos with my friend Cody. I used the GSF Productions name as my production company. Cody and I collectively made over 200 videos throughout high school. After I finished high school I knew I wanted to create a professional video production company. That's when GSF Creative, a new and improved concept from my high school days, came in. I originally founded GSF Creative in 2009. Later that year I moved to Uruguay for two years as a volunteer for my church. After I came home I went off to college with plans to get a degree in communications but ended up graduating with a music degree instead. Nonetheless, I still took many classes and minored in communications. While in college I renamed GSF Creative to Postmark Media and took on a few clients. After finishing my undergrad I freelanced both as a musician and in the communications and media field for a year (under the name of Postmark Media). I then went on to earn a masters degree in music where I graduated at the end of 2019.
Enter 2020... While in the middle of job searching and applying for doctorate schools, COVID-19 hit and everything related to my career came to a screeching halt. My plan for 2020 (like many other people) started to fall apart as job interviews stopped, and I was laid off from my most recent positions. I came to realize that the realities of finding a full-time job in music where I could provide for my family was going to have to wait. A new plan... I started to brainstorm how I could combine all of my knowledge into one cohesive package. In the back of my mind, I always knew GSF Creative would be the answer. While my previous work for Postmark Media was good, it was a learning time. GSF Creative embodies all of my work in the creative industry. With my experience in branding, event production, video, and website design, I am excited to have GSF Creative help me tell your story!
