An hour ago, the Turkish army bombed the electricity transmission station in the city of Kobani in northern Syria, causing a blackout in the city and nearly 300 villages. Last Sunday, Turkish drones attacked three locations in Kobani, including the electricity transmission station. At the same time, Turkey carried out two raids with two marches previously targeting two sites: a car repair shop at the southern entrance of the city and a former cement factory in the village of Jalabiya, south of Kobani.

As a result of these events, the main electricity plant in the "Euphrates district", which supplies the city of Kobani and around 300 villages, was put out of operation due to the bombardment by the Turkish army. Turkey continues its bombardment along the border strip and contact line areas from Derik in the east to Minbic in the west. These attacks have resulted in significant destruction of infrastructure, service facilities, residents' property and civilian and military casualties.
