Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former White House Director of Strategic Communications (April 7, 2020 – December 4, 2020), is one who has always claimed to have heard Donald Trump consciously admitting that Joe Biden won that year’s presidential election. Those creating anti-Kamala Harris pornographic material might wish to reconsider their electoral strategy. Yesterday the Senate UNANIMOUSLY passed a bipartisan bill to provide legal remedies to victims of pornographic “deepfakes” or sexually-explicit, non-consensual images created with artificial intelligence. The incipient law will now go to the House of Representatives, where a companion bill sponsored by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is waiting for a vote, which is almost sure to succeed due to the Senate’s total endorsement. If it passes the House, the package goes directly to President Biden to sign into law. As written, new laws will allow victims sue for up to $150,000 in damages, and up to $250,000 if related to attempted sexual assault, stalking or harassment.

I’ve warned that Americans should be aware that Putin will have included a Kamala Harris election scenario in his gameplans, and this would also likely apply to the more intelligent manipulators behind the Trump figurehead. Remember also that at the beginning of the last election cycle, Harris had almost as much national support as Bernie Sanders whipped up in the one before that. Her downfall started after the nominee debates, when Tulsi Gabbard –who later unveiled herself as a MAGA plant (at least)- led the attack on Harris. Harriss’ 4 years as a Senator were distinguished by fighting for all the rights currently imperiled and excellently turning her past prosecutorial skills to speak out against or grill such characters as Bill Barr, Neil Gorsuch, Brent Kavanaugh and Stephen Miller. Her ‘reputation’ as one of the lowest-regarded Vice Presidents began with 2 polls –each with only 1,000 respondents, none of whom could’ve been aware of her work inside the White House – conducted by USA Today/Suffolk in 2021, and by NBC in 2023. If those are strong points to be resurrected, then an additional one could be that Harris was allowed to speak out strongly against the actions of Trump’s friend, Netanyahu, while Biden had to mouth the official line and confine himself to working behind the scenes to stop him, which now gives her the chance of convincing and winning over the “uncommitted” voters, whose numbers added up to nearly the exact amounts by which Biden had won those states.

Remember: Putin will have gamed this out. He was fine agitating for Biden to fail, so he would've also planned what to do if Harris stepped in. Trump might be wrongfooted, but that'll just spark his most primitive emotions (which are not pleasant).

Today, TASS –the state-owned Russian news agency- claimed that “Ukrainian opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk has sent a letter to US presidential nominee Donald Trump, where he pointed to a potential Ukrainian link in the recent attempt on his life.” Medvedchuk, an oligarch and former member of that country’s Verkhovna Rada (Parliament), is a good friend of Vladimir Putin currently living in Russia. He was previously a strident pro-Moscow manipulator who has equated the European Union with Germany's Third Reich since as early as 2013. Medvedchuk was arrested in 2021 for high treason, among other crimes, and placed under house arrest, where he remained until being bailed out by Putin in an exchange of political detainees.
As part and parcel of Russia’s years-long electoral interference in Western nations, (see “The Disinformation Age”, July 11 here: https://derkoolschrank.com/the-disinformation-age/), TASS quotes the communiqué as saying "This is why, esteemed Mr. Trump, you have become an enemy for Ukrainian neo-Nazi Zelensky. And this scoundrel will stop at nothing to keep you from winning the presidential race. I think that a Ukrainian link may appear in the assassination attempt case."
As reported in TASS, Medvedchuk’s missive to Trump wound up with a benediction described thusly: “He wished Trump good health, firmness and victory in the upcoming presidential election in the United States. "I am sure you are ready to take resolute actions, condemn and punish the criminal regime in Kiev, impose personal sanctions on its most heinous and corrupt representatives.”
