Primary filming for The 1% officially concluded yesterday. A huge thank you to the many cast members who've been dedicating so many of their weekends to this project. We've loved getting to know you all.

And we can't wait to share the finished product with you! Madame Director is working hard at post-production already. We might even have a trailer to share before too long...

Wow! What a great first day of filming for The 1%. We got to meet and work with several actors who were new to the Mad-Tee family, we kept up a brisk pace, and we shot the most ambitious scene we've yet to do.

Performer Spotlight: Brad Francis

It's fair to say there would be no Mad-Tee Productions without Brad, mostly since there would be no Madison Francis without her father. You can go ask your mom how that works. You can see Brad on screen in multiple Mad-Tee projects, but he's also been a persistent presence off-screen, giving script notes, helping out on set, and offering feedback on the (almost) final product. You'll get a chance to see Brad again in Mad-Tee's newest project, as Marshall in The 1%.

What jumped out to me the first time I watched our third Divergent fan short—I Am Candor—is the color scheme. It's striking how different it looks from other projects Mad-Tee has done.

At Mad-Tee Productions, we believe representation matters. As an indie studio, we don't always get a wide variety of available actors to cast, but we do our best to write characters that demonstrate a wide array of characteristics, sexual orientations, genders, and abilities.

The latest big project Madame Director Madison Francis has been working on introduces some more characters that we don't always get to see on screen. We think there is strength in diversity. We're all human after all.

For some young students, portrayals of minorities in the media not only affect how others see them, but it affects how they see themselves.
