So many books are being adapted these days! Here are just a few that I've heard about. I haven't read all of these books just yet, but looks like I better get to it!

I wanted to take a moment to explain what was happening with the podcast. It’s been a year and a half since I last shared an episode and I want you to know that I have plans to keep making episodes. I really enjoy talking about books and their adaptations!

At the start of last year, I recorded episodes for Season 2, and just as I was about to start editing them, we had a family emergency. Unfortunately that meant the podcast (and a lot of my creative work) was put on a back burner. That was immediately followed by two consecutive deaths in the family. As I’m sure you can understand, I’ve just not had the space as I work to heal from the turbulent year that was 2022 and get myself back to a place of wanting to create.

The good news is that I really want to keep the podcast going. Throughout all of this, it’s never been far from my mind. The issue is that I just don’t have the capacity to do it all myself.

I’m in the process of looking for an editor to help me sort out the episodes I recorded last year, and then I’m hoping to bring on an editor/producer to help me manage the workload and also to help make the podcast the best it can be! I’m hopeful that at the very least, I’ll be able to get some new episodes out this year!

In the meantime, I’m planning on relaunching the Patreon so if you’re interested in joining for behind the scenes bits, reading recommendations and more!

Hi everyone! Ghenet here. It’s been a while since I posted and even longer since there were any new episodes. I am working on it but I just wanted to take some time to explain what’s been happening and why things with The Book Was Better have stagnated. Thank you for your patience!
