King County, WA and City of Seattle Join National Effort to “Naturalize 2 Million by 2022!”
Seattle (April 20) – City of Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs and King County, in collaboration with National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA), OneAmerica, Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) and community members will hold a press conference during the “Naturalize 2 Million by 2022!” campaign week of action, as part of a nationwide effort to encourage two million eligible permanent residents to obtain their citizenship by the end of 2022. King Council will announce joining the Cities for Citizenship (C4C) initiative, a major national initiative aimed at increasing citizenship among eligible U.S. permanent residents and encouraging cities and counties across the country to invest in citizenship programs.
