If your child grabbed a cup of coffee and spilt on themselves, would you know what to do or you panic and freeze?

Here is exactly what you should do
COOL CALL COVER

COOL the burn with cool running water for 20 minutes and remove all clothing and jewellery (unless it is melted or firmly stuck to the wound).

CALL for help for any burn larger than a 50p coin: 999,111 or local GP for advice.

COVER with cling film or a clean non-fluffy dressing or cloth. Make sure the patient is kept warm.

Last week I had an appointment with my anaesthesiologist for my elective C-section in a few weeks. The appointment went really well and I came out of it feeling less anxious and so much more confident in my decision to have a plan. C-section is your sign if you are having a plan C-section to request to see your anaesthesiologist to go over these questions before the big day You can also request a lot of medication which I didn’t know such as anti-anxiety medication extra sickness and extra anti-shaking medication 🤍 #plannedcsection #birthoptions #csection #birthtrauma #labouranddelivery
