Tudor has announced the release of the Black Bay Ceramic "Blue", a new Black Bay Ceramic that marks the brand's collaboration with the Visa Cash App Red Bull Formula One team. This watch is no stranger to those who are into motorsports; the team's drivers have worn it since Tudor became a sponsor back in early 2024.

Now, the Black Bay Ceramic "Blue" (Reference M79210CNU-0007) is available to the public.

Audemars Piguet has unveiled three new openworked double balance Royal Oak models in a 41mm size, available in stainless steel, yellow gold, and ceramic.

The 15407ST.OO.1220ST.02 crafted in stainless steel features a striking contrast with rose gold screws and an openworked movement also in rose gold, housed in a stainless steel case. The hands and hour markers are crafted in white gold, in contrast to the rose gold used in the 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01. This model is priced at S$112,300.

The 15407BA.OO.1220BA.01 marks Audemars Piguet's first openworked model in a satin-finished yellow gold 41mm Royal Oak. It retails for S$148,600.

Finally, the 15416CE.OO.1225CE.02 is a standout with its limited run of 150 pieces, which arguably in our opinion looks the best. The striking contrast of the rose gold screws and openworked is enhanced more with the black ceramic casing. It retails for S$148,600.

The Sotheby's auction "Important Watches," which included Sylvester Stallone’s collection of 11 watches, concluded on June 5, 2024.

The main highlight was the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300G, which fetched a whopping 5.4 million USD, albeit lower than expected. Nonetheless, it was an impressive result given the current watch market climate.

Auctions have always been unpredictable, yet these results still show a strong love for watches despite the slow watch market.

The 10th edition of the Only Watch auction is back in full swing after a brief delay caused by questions raised by prominent watch collector "Santa Laura" regarding the proceeds of the auctions

Since then, Only Watch has released its audited report and its relation to SQY Therapeutics. A total of 16 brands have pulled out since then and have not rejoined the 10th edition of the Only Watch auction, notable brands include Audemars Piguet and Tudor.

One of the world’s most famous actors and prominent watch collectors, Sylvester Stallone, will be auctioning off his watches on June 5th, 2024, in New York with Sotheby’s.

Stallone previously auctioned off five of his watches, including four Richard Milles and a Panerai, which sold for a combined total of over $3.1 million back in December 2020 with Phillips auction house, also in New York.

The auction comprises 11 watches from brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Panerai, and Piaget.

One of the world’s most famous actors and prominent watch collectors, Sylvester Stallone, will be auctioning off his watches on June 5th, 2024, in New York with Sotheby’s.

Under everyone’s noses, Rolex has also updated the Rolex Deepsea Dweller with a MK 2 dial.

For Ref 136660 "James Cameron/Blue dial", the MK 2 dial has the text ‘SEA-DWELLER’ removed from under the text ‘DEEPSEA’, initially transforming it from a 5-liner dial into a 4-liner dial.

While for Ref 136660 with Black dial, they've removed the text "DEEPSEA" above and replaced the text below "SEA-DWELLER" with "DEEPSEA".

This change follows the release of the 136668LB, aiming to make the 4-liner dial consistent across the Deepsea Dweller line.

[NEW ROLEX 2024 RELEASE: 1908 & DAY-DATE]

Moving on to the Rolex Day-date lineup, Rolex has introduced a slew of changes, with key highlights definitely including the new slate ombre dial on the Everose gold Day-date 40mm 228235, which was teased in Rolex's Oscar video. It retails for S$60,900.

The mother-of-pearl dials that were introduced in the Daytona now make their way onto the Day-date models, with a white mother-of-pearl option available in all precious metal materials, including platinum.

Breaking news: Rolex has not discontinued the Rolex GMT Master 2 Pepsi 126710BLRO and Sprite 126720VTNR.

It also has not discontinued the Oyster Perpetual with the celebration motif dial. Rolex has yet again proven speculators wrong, time and time again. However, much to everyone's expectation, we saw the Rolex Daytona Lemans 126529LN being discontinued.

It's finally here! We will be covering the new 2024 Watch & Wonders releases by Rolex.

First, we'll delve into the new Rolex GMT Master II in steel, the 126710GRNR, available in both Oyster and Jubilee bracelets.

Aesthetically, it closely resembles its predecessor, the 116710LN, featuring the iconic green GMT hand & font, with the exception of the updated grey-black bezel, which debuted last year in the Rolex Guinness 126713GRNR. Interestingly, no GMT has been discontinued.

Rolex Sports Model: Premium over 2024 Retail Price

In 2024, Rolex implemented an increase in retail prices, prompting a closer examination of the premiums held by popular models within the Daytona, Submariner, and GMT lines.

Notably, standard steel sports models retained the highest premiums, with stainless steel Daytona and Pepsi models leading the pack. Conversely, two-tone models experienced a lag in premium growth, primarily due to the larger price hike they incurred. Among these, the rootbeer 126711CHNR still maintained the highest premium.

Celebrating the two-year anniversary of the Swatch x Omega collaboration, they’ve unveiled a new bioceramic Moonswatch, the "Mission to the Moonphase," featuring Snoopy.

The "Mission to the Moonphase" features a moon phase function. Snoopy, NASA's beloved safety ambassador, is depicted lying on the moon on the rotating moon phase disc located at the 2 o'clock subdial.

But the magic doesn't end there. Under UV light, a hidden quote, "I can’t sleep without a night light!" from a Snoopy comic strip, emerges, adding a whimsical surprise to the watch's already captivating design.
