Wow, we had a great "PASS or PURSUE" Group Meeting on Monday June 10th.
1. John S. brought a pool supply business. He had the CIM and the Financials to the meeting and it was a nice deal. Lots of cash flow. Lots of cash on balance sheet. No debt. Seller retiring - very frugal. 20 plus years in business. At a fair price. Some recurring clients at big college. We went around the board and everyone said to move forward with LOI on this deal.
2. Marc M. brought a deal combo deal, furniture restoration and show repair business. Again, great cash flow, owner was taking out a lot. Steady stream of customers for furniture and high and show repair - talking about $10,000 shoes. Balanced books. Great team, longevity in place. Marc was fully prepared to answer all questions about the business. We did have questions about separating the P/Ls but We went around the board and everyone said to move forward with LOI on this deal.
Note: on both of these deals, both buyers are prepared to move to another state for deal.
