The two major drawings I'm working on had me exhausted so I went back to something I'm comfortable drawing. Waist up sexy men x3. I feel better and refreshed to get started on the other drawings again. Hope you like this one

Layers! Original concept was going to have a ghost lifting his ear in the reflection and whispering to him. I love the concept, but I'm gonna save it for a different time. This was, really, really fun to work on. I tried forcing myself to relax and make dark, deeper shadows because honestly night time lighting is not something I'm familiar with. But I'm learning, and I can't wait for the next drawing ^^

I actually tried a new background color for sketching on and it helped a lot. Took some inspiration from a Braeburn stream I watched. I feel like my posing has been getting better and things are beginning to loosen up. I still want to improve the expressions and energy of my drawings and I look forward to seeing how I improve by the end of this year. Hope you enjoy ^^

Been too dang long since I posted here. Whelp, got a ref for my yeen Novio done. I ended up getting rid of one headshot cause it didn't fit the layout but I still love the goofy haida teeth poking out. Tried a new process for lighting and shading that I don't recommend cause it was a damn hassel and not efficient at all! But, that's my own fault. Things can get a lil confusing when you have like 80 layers x_x anyways, on to the next character

Forgot to add all this here. I changed the main fur soooo dang much from my sketch phase to the final render. I had about 3 different sketch ideas too.
I did have some fun trying new stuff with the fur which I'm starting to like.

Well hey, been awhile right? Well I'm back to drawing after my long as heck hiatus. Got a few drawings lined up and working on my larger projects still. Hopefully I'll have time to post some of it soon.
Now for the awesome character by Nokternum, good gosh what a cool Lupyena! I have so many sketches just trying to get the right style down but I'm pretty happy where I landed! Thanks a ton for trusting me to draw your ref, it's always an honor getting to layout a character like this ^^

Chararter belongs to Lux. This was fun to draw, and Lux Is an absolutely adorable character. Had to learn to draw anime spiky hair which was a thing but, it's always cool learning new stuff.

Here's my Yeen boy, looking all handsome. Life goals here, this is future me I hope. Drew this in my painting style which I'm working on, and really enjoying. The pose took me awhile to get down but I've made a base of it so it should be faster to do refs in the future.

This is my first attempt at painting, so if you have any critiques, tips, or advice I'm all ears. It's something I have very little practice at but I tried my best. I've always admired the painting work of other furs and really want to expand my creative abilities and learn as much as possible.
I had this idea last night when I couldn't sleep, I've been emotionally distressed and in a really bad place so I decided to begin creating a new Sona. Although this hyena isn't my final one, he is part of my journey to the final design. He does however embody what I want this character to be. Happy, ambitious, courageous, and daring. I want him to be my goal, to have achieved my dreams and to be continuing onward to new horizons. Maybe it sounds corny, but I think the first step is learning to love myself and facing my fears.
I look forward to showing you all my new Sona once he's finished.

Haida is bae. Freaking love him and Huff, I need a Haida in my life. Honestly though, now I'm working on my own yeen Sona which should be done soonish. Anyways, I wanted to keep this drawing pretty simple and I tried using thicker lines like I'm the show. Though, I think next attempt I'll make them even thicker

Getting a commission request is always awesome, a request from a friend? Pretty cool too. But a request for STAR WARS!! Oh hell yes. I was so pumped to do this drawing and I tried putting everything I learned into it.
I tried adding in textures, creating new effects for smoke, fire, and lasers. My computer was absolutely dying trying to render everything in. I think it's a good sign I need a new one. I really hope you all like this and I'm looking forward to the next commission I draw.

This is probably one of the hardest furry drawings I've ever done but damn it was a great challange. I learned a ton and after some requested adjustments at the end I think it turned out awesome ^^
I made so many layers and sketches for this drawing but I think it really helped me get a final pose that I liked

Whew this one finished up faster then I thought. Found some very good music so I was on a roll 🦊❤️
I tried some new stuff when it came to lighting the bedsheets and the character himself. I like the outcome and I feel like after a bit of refining I'll have a new method in my paws. This is why I love drawing, finding new ways to do stuff and slowly getting better ^^

Tried some new layer modes here and some experiments so I hope you enjoy it!
I saw an old favorite drawing of two furs cuddling and it got me thinking of this drawing. I'm single so like..figured I'd make the fox alone too mwhahaha!!...ahem, anyways I thought it'd be a good project to practice lighting and I learned some stuff from it. I even used a color burn layer for the first time xD
You can see my rough as heck sketch below, I try and use anything but black since black ink tricks your mind into thinking what your doing is permanent or fixed. Using other colors helps free it up.
The outline and base colors are some of my favorite parts of a drawing. It makes your drawing finally start feeling alive. Once you get down to the lighting and shading that's where the real fun begins though! Making your drawings go from 2D to looking 3D is so so satisfying. I just wish I could work faster x3
