🚨 ACADEMY ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

With it being the Challenge Cup Sixth Round we would like to announce our Academy team have been invited to play a London Select XIII on the weekend of the Challenge Cup final!

Friday 27th May
New River Stadium
5pm Kick Off
Pre-Match | London Skolars V Oldham

This is a brilliant opportunity and experience for our Academy team.

We will be travelling down on Friday, playing the game 5pm kick off, watching the Skolars game, staying over in London and then attending the Challenge Cup final at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This is not only a great playing opportunity but also a great life experience for our young lads.

Please stay tuned for the fund raising we will be doing over the forthcoming weeks to pay for this once in a lifetime opportunity for the lads.

A massive thanks to Hunslet RLFC players and staff for joining us tonight in an opposed training session.

It was an invaluable experience for our Open Age and Academy players to see how a semi-pro team prepares for game day and experience playing against them in a controlled environment.

A special mention and thank you to our club manager Maria for organising the meeting room for the Hunslet players pre training and catering for them afterwards.

Good luck with your season opening game away at London Skolars and your 2022 season.

This is to help them prepare for their fixture versus London Skolars and us to prepare for our away fixture versus Myton Warriors.

All players will be in the club afterwards so would be great to see as many people down as possible.

Our Leeds Rhinos Boys Development Academy team have been drawn at home to Wigan Warriors or York College Knights in the Quarter Finals of the College Cup.

Tie to be played on Wednesday 2nd February at Leeds Rugby Academy in Kirkstall.
