Hey guys! The question about it fraying, yes it will fray if you wash it. before you wash it, i would dab some Fray Check along the edges :) and i wouldn't through it into the washer. treat it very delicately! and if you don't like the idea of the edges fraying then you can always try hemming it but it would take away from the shape of the cutouts or you can always sew a trim along those edges! ^_^ theres always a way. be creative and do what you feel will make it look best! ALSO thats why its important that you're using a very sharp scissor so it doesnt fray too bad ;D This would work perfectly with jean button downs because they won't fray haha. Go thrifting and find something that will work, and MAKE IT WORK! haha ;D

The mere thought of summers brings a huge smile on our faces as its time to welcome all those pretty little crop tops that are not only like a breath of fresh air in the hot days, but also look absolutely adorable, sensuous and beautiful – all at the same time.

You might find those gorgeous crops while strolling through the stores that cost you quite a huge bucks, but you would be surprised to know that you can make amazing crop tops at home out of your existing or old wardrobe collection, that too in a fraction of that cost.

In the hot and humid days we all want to wear something breezy and light that’s not going to make us sweaty, but will instead make us look dashing and feel comfortable despite the temperatures.

A crop top is the ultimate piece to wear at the peak of summertime – or if you are lucky enough to live in the land of always summer, you can sport it all year long!

Here's a tutorial for a fun way to cut up your t-shirts! Reconstruct old, boring t-shirts by cutting strips into a "V" shape on the back of your t-shirt. Just learn the basic weave and you'll have your own DIY style shirt :)

Step 1
Cut the neck off - Follow the original seam so your cut will be even. Cut 1in wider than the original neckline for a roundneck. Cut 1.5-2in wider than original neckline for a wide, boatneck or off the shoulder neckline.

Step 2
Separate the front and the back of the shirt and then fold the back of the shirt in half - Match up the shoulder seams so it is even. Do NOT cut the front of the shirt.

Step 3
Decide the shape of the "V" that you want. The wider, or deeper the V, the sexier and more revealing the shirt. Use a rule to mark where you'll be cutting.

Step 4
Cut thin strips - about a finger width all the way down. Careful not to cut too low or you'll have a hard time tying a knot in step 7.

Step 5
Stretch out the fabric to roll edges. Take each strip that you cut and pull it out so it turns into a thin and even strip.

Step 6
Weave - take the second strip and put it under and over the first strip. Still holding onto the second strip, take the third strip and place it under and over the second strip. Continue all the way to the bottom. Make sure you didn't miss any strips before doing the next step because you can still undo and redo the weave at this point.

Step 7
Knot - when you're holding onto the last loop at the very bottom of the V, take scissors and cut the loop in half. Double knot both of them to the previous loop to hold the weave.

Step 8
Done!!!!! You can repeat the weave if you like the look of having 2 or more weaves. See the difference compared to the main picture at the top? Try it out!
