Let the failure be ur stepping stone....

"While the saddest moments of my life have been when I couldn’t go to different recreational places with my family properly because I am a wheelchair user, the happiest ones have been of me helping people out by dropping them places or helping in carrying their things on my 4 wheeler bike.

I lost interest in studies by 8th grade and I do regret it now. But I want to work hard to support my younger siblings in getting an education.

There is an advice to myself I always give, especially when I am down.
'Apnay aap ko kisi se k*m na samjho, aesa koi kaam nai jo aap na karsako'.

After training at NOWPDP to drive retrofitted vehicles, I have been chosen to drive one of the loaders/retrofitted vehicles of the Upcycle Project. This campaign wants to reduce waste that you see scattered everywhere in our beloved country. I will be driving this loader and collecting plastic that will be recycled and I am very proud of this new opportunity to do something good for my city which is my home."

-Taimur has been chosen as one of the loaders’ drivers and he will be present at the Beach Clean Up, tomorrow, 19th Sept (Saturday from 3 to 6 PM. Come and support him.

Don't allow the adversaries of your future to know more about your strategy. Position your blessings in a way where they could be achieved without unnecessary interference. Begin to muddy the waters so the fish wouldn't see you net coming. Because for that, you will be able to net your breakthrough and with precision, achieve more goals.
Stop sharing your next move because you're about to net a breakthrough. Strategize and learn how to guard your next move, because your target can be reached when you become unpredictable to your target! Muddy the waters! And you shall discover the catch of a lifetime in the ocean of possibilities! For if you muddy the waters, the fish can't see your net coming.

-TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE-

Geet was diagnosed with Polio at 6 years of age. Women weren’t allowed to study or work in her family. She wasn't allowed to do the same even more because of her disability. But she was determined to achieve success.
After getting rejected from 10 schools, she finally got accepted into one, where she had no friends.
Geet's father used to threaten her to shun her. But her mother helped her with her savings and enrolled her into a college. Along with working as a telecaster, she finally graduated.
To find job, she used to walk miles in crutches, because she was unable to afford the travel expense for interviews.
After facing many rejections, she was offered a job at a bank. Her father kept threatening to send her to the village if she didn’t stop working. But she knew, that she had more to achieve in life, so she moved out and stayed with a friend.
Later she got a house on rent. She used to live there alone and tried to commit su***de because it was so hard. So, she decided to take control of her life. She quit her job, and started her own garments business.
Around that time, she got to know about the Mumbai Wheelchair Basketball team. She never played sports as a child -- so she gave it a try. She'd work through the week, and would practice with the team over the weekends.
"I never felt more free than I did, while playing on the court," she says. "No one was telling me that I couldn’t do it." Her team won on the national level as well.
Today she is running her own business, and actively pursuing wheelchair basketball, tennis, and even wrestling. She has her own house, and she is an independent woman.
Needless to say, she fought to live her dream life.

- INSPIRATION FOR EVERYONE -

Sindhuri, a student of class VI of Udupi district of Karnataka, was born without an arm. Despite this, she did not stop sewing the mask. Amidst the coronavirus epidemic, a ten-year-old girl from Karnataka has inspired many people with her courage.

Actually, it was the goal of the scout and guide wing of the school to distribute masks to the students. Student Sindhuri said that she stitched 15 masks.

Initially, she was reluctant to do sewing with just one hand but her mother helped after which she could do this work.

This girl's courage became an inspiration for everyone, with one hand-stitched mask for the students.

Since the mind drives the body,it's the way you think that eventually makes the way to your dreams possible or impossible, along with every excuse you make. Your reality is simply a reflection of your thoughts. All too often you literally don't know any better than good enough. Sometimes you have to try to do what you think you can't do,so you realize that you actually CAN. It all starts on the inside. You must see yourself as the WAY-MAKER over the EXCUSE-MAKER,because the only person who can hold you back is YOU. Be blessed..

A mind in the world of darkness knows no sunshine. Many are those who sees nothing good and hopes for nothing in the future, their world is full of darkness. Its true that the future is unknown without the Word, but you have got to start building it now. Light up the candlestick within you and then you will see a future of great possibilities. Your life could become the sunshine full of laughter and joy,and a sign of hope to many. Just yield and obey the call of your dreams and make them a reality. You could be or represent the next big thing others are waiting to see,and which could become their source of motivation. Wake up and live. Its better late than never so wake up from your sleep. #

- HOW CAN I HELP YOU -

Shahzad was born without hands. He grew up in an Edhi Welfare Association among supportive and encouraging people. Now he works in the department of logistics at the same Edhi Centre in Karachi, Pakistan.

He is more than a person without hands. He can read and write, can book appointments and attend calls all because of he and the people around him were hopeful, compassionate and caring.

He tells to the people who seem hopeless to "Look at me, I was a person who was unwanted and alone and see what I have become (independent, hopeful and happy). With amazing people around, believe that anything is possible to achieve."

- CHANGE WITH TIME -

I am Fakhar Imam, a self made individual.

Until the age of 7, I wasn't able to walk. At that time I was only able to stand as I have been affected by polio. By the GRACE OF ALLAH (S.W.T), I am able to walk now. I believe that people should change with time.

I made this page "Disability, My Ability" because I like to inspire people and share my knowledge and experiences with them. Not only that, but I also like to read and share stories of different individuals to encourage and motivate others. By making this move, I want to set standards of living.

WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE?

Another thing I would like to mention about me is that there's not a single thing in my past that I would like to change. I've embraced it completely. It made me who I am today, wise and intellectual. If I can do it, so can you. Don't live in the past, leave the sorrows behind. Be grateful for today and hope the best for tomorrow.

I am proud to say, "My Disability is My Ability.
