It's proud moment for us that a woman centric film directed by a female director, produced by female producer doing well at international platform.

Women in Film and Television, Bhutan would like to congratulate Samuh and the team behind "Gangnam Girls" for being selected at 24th UK Asian Film Festival .

"Gangnam Girls" will make its UK premiere at the British Film Institute in London on May 15.

Women in Film and Television, Bhutan would like to congratulate Pawo Choyning Dorji and the team behind Lunana:A Yak in the classroom for making all the way to the Oscars.

It is a proud moment for all the Bhutanese working in creative industry to witness a film from a tiny country, paving it's way to the Oscars.

Fact: Lunana:A Yak in the Classroom is the second Bhutanese film entry at Oscars, the first one being "The Cup" by Dzongsar Jamyang Khentse in 1999.
