TONIGHT'S THE BIG ONE. At 7 we'll be on air discussing releases from 1995 including the namesake album that gave this show it's inspiration: The Smashing Pumpkins' legendary double LP 'Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness'.

We're also privileged to be joined by a mystery guest who was actually alive in 1995 (😮), and they give us some interesting insights into life in the time of sad '90s alt-rock.

Infinite Sadness on SURG

They may be the President and Vice-President of SURG, but boy oh boy are Pat and Rhea sad...sad that there isn’t more sad music being listened to!

If you, too, are a prospective sad person and want to be made even sadder through a weekly assemblage of woeful tunes and insightful discussions – with occasional special guest participation – then join Pat and Rhea on the airwaves in their journey through sad music of all sub-genres and vibes.

The format is simple: Each week is themed around a single year, where 3-4 songs by several artists are discussed and their sad qualities, evaluated. Weekly playlists and promos shall be posted on this page!
