, where we celebrate BMWs in motorsport. The BMW 328 Roadster has a special relationship with the Nürburgring. It was at the Eifel circuit in 1936 that BMW's sports car was launched. And what a launch. Driven by Ernst Henne, the 328 would win the race outright on its debut. It was available to buy just 10 weeks later.

It's impossible to choose the best BMW 7-Series. Even when we had one example of each of the seven generations together for our Issue 03 cover feature, not one stood out as the greatest. Maybe the G12 M760Li was the best to drive. Perhaps the E38 provides the best balance of luxury and simplicity. And maybe, just maybe, the E32 is the best looking. What do you think?

The BMW 6-Series, no matter which generation, is deeply elegant. That's not the attribute you'd use to describe most M cars. Fast, aggressive, wildly fun, but not elegant.
