no matter its size, can look like hollywood without emptying the wallet. I have spent much of my time as a producer and creative director for successful production companies in Dallas, Texas. In 2008 I helped launch the Emmy winning college football TV show Tailgate Rivals that continues to air on Fox Sports networks today. My experience building a video product/campaign for clients of all sizes has lead me to understand that message is key.

Running Creek

Was able to pull this shot off yesterday handheld as I sat contorted on slippery rocks to do whatever I could to remain motionless. Aperture was open 1.6sec at f/22. Running across this little creek was a surprise and I was able to grab some great shots, both video and photo.

My Future with RED 8K, by Mark Toia.

Beautifully put together piece on the Helium 8K that, in reality, is more about shooting philosophy as a whole than just how incredible this camera truly is. I sit here with an 8bit-4K camera on my desk, that I love and produces beautiful images, and salivate over the freedom that comes from a camera like this. But at the same time, I fear that freedom... creativity and storytelling can fall behind, and has been recently, as technology has opened so many doors. He makes a great point at the end of the video... it's all about storytelling.
