Patreon Episode #41 - Lisa & Devon Manderach

Will be released on regular feed episode #181 - 12/5 for everyone to hear!

Today’s case is one that holds a special place in our hearts. It’s affected our host Chelsea since she was a child—just as it has left a lasting mark on the community of Limerick, Pennsylvania.

In 1995, a senseless and devastating act took the lives of a mother and her young daughter. It was the kind of tragedy that shakes a town to its core—leaving behind shock, sorrow, and an aching void. But in the midst of grief, something remarkable happened. The community came together, united in love and remembrance, to create something beautiful: Manderach Park.

More than just a playground, it became a living tribute—a place where laughter could return, where children could play safely, and where healing could begin. To this day, the names of the victims are not forgotten. Their memory lives on, not just in stone or plaque, but in every joyful moment shared within that space.

Join us as we look back at the crime that shattered a community—and the incredible strength and compassion that rose in its aftermath. This is a story of loss, but also of love, resilience, and the power of remembrance.

Got thoughts, theories, or corrections? Drop them in the comments or hit our DMs - we are always available.

Episode #180 – Suzanne Simpson & Nikki Saelee 💜🔦

Join Cait for our October Monthly Mood as she covers two heartbreaking domestic violence cases from outside Pennsylvania.

🔸 San Antonio, TX — Suzanne Simpson
Suzanne went missing in October after her mother received a frantic call saying Suzanne’s husband had violently attacked her. Three days later, he was arrested for assault. A month after that, even without a recovered body, he was charged with her murder.

🔸 Redding, CA — Nikki Saelee
In December 2023, Nikki arrived at a local hospital bruised, battered, and terrified — the moment that triggered a full domestic violence investigation. After years of abuse, she was finally ready to take a stand. Her husband believed the only way to escape the charges was to silence her permanently.

Though these cases aren’t from our Keystone State, the issue hits close to home. Nationwide, an estimated 3–4 women are killed every day by a current or former intimate partner. In Pennsylvania alone last year, 106 victims lost their lives to domestic violence.

Join us as we shine a light on these harrowing stories and the broader crisis they represent.

Episode #179 – Sandra Morgan 🔦🖤

Today’s case takes us to Pittsburgh, PA in the late ’90s. Sandra Morgan had just landed her own apartment at 26 — a brand-new chapter filled with independence and possibility. At the time, she was working at a strip club, building her life on her own terms.

But on September 24th, 1997, everything changed. Sandra’s boyfriend went to check on her after not hearing from her for several days. When she didn’t answer the door, he called police for a welfare check. Once officers gained access to the apartment… they walked into a horrific scene.

One question has haunted the investigation for decades:
How did no one in a paper-thin apartment building hear anything?
Neighbors could hear everyday noises through the walls — yet not a single sign of the brutal struggle that took Sandra’s life was reported.

This case faded from the spotlight far too quickly. Many believe it was because of Sandra’s profession. Regardless, Sandra deserved better — and she deserves justice.

Join us as Chelsea dives deep into the life, death, and unanswered questions surrounding this case.

Patreon Episode #40 - Adolf Coors III

Our Beyond the Keystone Patreon case takes us to Colorado!

Today, Chelsea is diving into a wild and lesser-known case involving a family name you’ve almost definitely heard of. If you're around my age, you probably associate "Coors" more with cheap beer, backyard BBQs, and budget-friendly partying than with real people — but behind the brand is a story far darker than most know.

In the mid-1960s, the Coors family — yes, that Coors — was rocked by a horrifying event that’s mostly faded from public memory. While branding paints Coors as a staple for good times and everyday affordability, the real-life family behind the label endured something unthinkable.

In early 1960, Adolf Coors III, a prominent figure in the brewing empire, was kidnapped — and what followed shocked the nation. A ransom note was sent to his wife, and the investigation that unfolded was anything but ordinary.

Episode #178 - Joshua Maddux

🎙️ New Beyond the Keystone Episode!

This week, Chelsea’s heading to Colorado to explore the mysterious death of Joshua Maddux — a case that’s puzzled investigators and online sleuths for years.

Josh left home for a walk in 2008 and never returned.
Seven years later, his remains were found inside a nearby cabin’s chimney — but the scene raised far more questions than answers.

What really happened to Josh that day? And how did no one find him sooner?
