Shafi'u Sahlan expressed gratitude to ADC leaders in Plateau State for warmly receiving him and his teaming supporters, describing the influx of Kwankwasiyya members into the ADC as a "fire from the river," evident since Sen. Kwankwaso declared his interest.
He added that he and over 63,000 supporters would bring fresh change to Plateau politics, urging no discrimination and full integration so they could contribute effectively. He also called on followers to ensure voter card registration and updates for fair leadership elections in the 2027 general polls.
In her response, ADC Plateau chairperson Hon. Hannatu Gagara expressed delight at the new members, welcoming them and hoping for unity to work together for ADC and Nigeria's progress. She highlighted the party's special commitment to empowering women and youth in politics to drive change in Plateau and Nigeria.
