Magnificent 🤩 🙌

An American Sherman tank is dwarfed by the colossal DM&IR 2-8-8-4 "Yellowstone" steam locomotive. 18 of these giant locomotives were built between 1941 and 1943 they could weight as much as 513 tons with their tenders, producing up to 6250 hp. Today 3 locomotives survive in preservation.

All six episodes of SAS Rogue Heroes 2 watched, BLOODY FANTASTIC. I love historical TV dramas that use punk rock songs as their soundtracks - when was the last time you heard Sham 69….

It is big, it is loud, it is at times childish and completely over the top - I love it! It is one big mad romp that we used to find as kids in the Commando comics.

In one episode there is an emotional story line, which was surprising.

There is plenty of fodder for the critics to go after and there is plenty of fodder for those whose interest has been piqued to go after. It’s a win win for both camps.

Oh, and if anyone knows of any of the Jeeps used in series are for sale, I would like to own one 😍

I hope this adventure carries on for many more seasons 😁
