Platform complete. Just finished the sleeping platform with a double layer of super soft fleece. It fits perfectly and just screwed it to the wood frames to hold in place. Since two of the foundation pieces are actually mounted to the vehicle seat mounts, it should be pretty stable. AND the JEEP DOG is ready to GO!! See you out there! 🩷.

Build day two! Currently on hold waiting on a new stapler to be ready for pickup. The one I had completely fell apart after I was 80% done upholstering the platform. I don't know if it's a bad batch staples or what, but the thing jammed every six to eight shots then just quit. By the way, Home Depot has the DeWalt 5 in 1 stapler/nail gun for about$40 after tax. 😁

Good morning! Day one framing done, beginning day two. I researched so many ways to build this platform, then I found a bunch of 2x4s in the garage. Yep, FREE wood from the previous owner. Just two more frames to go and then the platform.
