✔️TIPS for Visiting Cancun, Mexico ❗️

1. No Covid Test is required to enter so wear your mask when you are out and about despite the fact the majority of people aren’t.

2. Exchange your money at the hotel. It’s a little cheaper than the airport. Always have pesos on hand.

3. A lot of the tours and excursions that are offered at the resorts take you to some nice places so take advantage of the offers which sometimes includes food and drinks. But bargain for the cheapest rate.

4. Bargain, bargain, bargain everywhere you go people will try to overprice you for everything. Research prices prior or ask for where the prices are listed.

5. If you rent a car, there are some roads that have tolls which of course you can not use US dollars or cards so make sure you have those pesos ready. (We learned our lesson and got schemed out of extra money.)

5. If it looks suspect, it probably is so be careful and always be on alert.

6. DON’T DRINK THE WATER! We stayed at an all inclusive and didn’t think twice about the ice in our drinks, sodas, and ice blended drinks like pina coladas. We definitely paid the consequences and it was very unpleasant 😫.

Quick story:
If you know me then you know this is me all the way 😂

I messed up and booked our stay starting on the wrong day 🤦🏽‍♀️

So here we are arriving on a Friday when our reservations were supposed to begin on a Saturday.

Their top notch security wouldn’t even let us in the gate without providing proof of the reservation LOL.

We were able to speak to the front desk manager who was able to accommodate us for an extra night last min.

Thank you 💙

And thank you husband for your love and patience 😉♥️
