INGREDIENTS:
* 1 medium beetroot, peeled and chopped
* 1 cup (165 g) frozen pineapple chunks
* 1 medium ripe banana
* 1 cup (240 ml) almond milk or milk of choice
* 1/2 cup (120 g) Greek yogurt
* 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, combine the chopped beetroot, frozen pineapple chunks, banana, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and honey or maple syrup, if using.

Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more almond milk and blend again until desired consistency is reached.

Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.
