His impressive grind and dedication has transformed him into one of the hottest and most respected artists to come out of Colorado. NexKin (Lead Songwriter) began writing rhymes over Kemist beats in 1999. An impossible to overlook charisma and desire elevated his style qu**ky. An even more apparent no lose attitude and an uncanny ability to crush his opponent thrust him onto the battle rapping scene. While the basement cypher sparked his early success, the pen and pad has perpetuated it, helping him to develop into one of the highest regarded and best liked artists in the Denver area. Ance (Lead Vocalist) has always been what you could call the younger brother of the group spent early time with them simply as a fan, supporter and close friend. It wasn't until early in the year 2000, that he had developed his vocal abilities to the point where he was comfortable singing on tracks. He was featured on several songs and in time, grew into the team's go to for vocals. In 2008, common involvement in a social event brought all parties together. It was during this time that like views of today's music industry spawned the ideas and structures on which 8th ElemEnt. is currently based and united the group in the goal of pressing "reset" and bringing it back to the foundation of artistry over imitation. Not long after it's official inception, the label added Chicago born, Denver representing producer BOGS one, who's gritty, and in your face style of production is well recognized locally and rivals anyone in the industry. Over time, the cast of characters has grown and the label has released music with several artists, including Y-Jay & Fame, a Hip-Hop duo who made instant noise upon their signing, 100 Shots (formerly GamerLife) a Hip-Hop charged live band that is pure energy, as well as 2 time (2010, 2012) KBPI Best Band in Denver winner: “No 1 Left Standing”, who is one of the state's more popular acts. An entire new stable of artists was added in 2014, including "Averse to the End", an amazing 5-piece rock & roll band, female lyricist/vocalist "Jessi Lambert" who is an absolute star in the making, teenage phenom vocalist "Ki-ahna" as well as the newest additon: "ShaDè", an impressive female lyricist with unlimited potential. The label's debut release hit the streets and net in October 2009. Since then, an entire library of albums, EP's and mixtapes have followed, totaling 12 projects officialy released.
