WASHINGTON PEOPLE’S PARTY U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal Remains Silent on .
U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi is running for her fourth term as Speaker of the House. With the election taking place in the first week of January, congressional progressives are poised to hold leverage over her reelection as Democrats maintain only a slim majority in the House.
Despite having previously had a majority, Rep. Pelosi refused to bring Medicare for All to the floor of the House even in the middle of a pandemic.
With over 330,000 deaths and millions having lost their employer-based coverage, seventy-two percent of Americans now support Medicare for All. As such, Americans throughout the country are pressing congressional Progressives to withhold their vote in the upcoming election unless Rep. Pelosi, or any other candidate, pledges to bring Medicare for all to a vote.
Fewer than fifteen congressional progressives are needed to in January. Despite calls by organizers from the Washington People’s Party (WPP) and a nation-wide discussion, U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal has remained silent. Although Rep. Jayapal is the sponsor for the Medicare for All
Act of 2019, she has turned her back on her values that health care is a human right. In the congresswoman’s own words, “we must finally guarantee health care to everyone as a human
right. It’s time for Medicare for All.” Well, it is time to put words to action as silence during this moment is akin to acceptance of the status quo.
As the elected Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Rep. Jayapal is sending a clear message to the Democratic leadership that congressional progressives have abandoned the will to fight before the battle has even begun.
The Washington People’s Party (WPP) stands in solidarity with progressives throughout the country and has pledged to campaign around Medicare for All. Americans need this more than ever, and progressives must continue to demand a floor vote even if those currently in power refuse to do so.
Organizers from WPP will hold a peaceful protest near the residence of Rep. Jayapal in Seattle on December 30, 2020 to remind her that her constituents are watching closely during this unprecedented health crisis. We recall the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “The time is always right to do what is right.”

On my drive early this morning, I couldn't believe how many people where living in the streets compared to last year. Times are tough. I just want to scream.
Went out today protesting outside of Walmart shopping center on the public sidewalk. I can't tell you how many times I was flipped off and called a mother fu**er because I am trying my best to get Healthcare for all Americans. . It always makes me laugh when so called Christians claim to be righteous and end up being hypocrites. They really hate that word. My suggestion would be to STOP BEING ONE!!!

THE DISCLAIMER: NCW was created as an organizing, activist group. As the originator of the group, or as an individual, I make no claims as a legal professional or any other professional any individual or organization could, would, or should misconstrue as advice or action on any issue.
REMEMBER an old civic action program named " Neighborhood Watch". Popular program in which volunteers would patrol and report suspected criminal activity to the police.
WELL, it is my belief through reading and observing current events that it has become apparent that Public Officials (cops) need to be monitored by citizens groups more closely.
THE PLAN: I'm thinking team(s) of three(3) volunteer patrols and record " public employees" in the performance of their duties from publicly accessible locations. They, (volunteers), would monitor scanners and transit to activities or just stop and record events.
ACCORDING TO SOME: and I believe it to be true, PHOTOGRAPHY is a US 1st Amendment Constitutional protected activity based on freedom of speech, press, and so on. BTW, US CONSTITUTION trumps policies and laws that contradict.
The goal is to:
1. Record actions from different positions for "the record." (ensuring members always remain in the frame(SAFETY FIRST
)).
2. Not engage with officials/employees by exercising our 1st, 4th, 5th etc. Amendment Rights. Our presence is not to debate but to record the for the record.
3. When violated take necessary corrective action including criminal and civil law suits.
4. Inform the public by all legal means.
NOTE: TO BE CLEAR: PLEASE don't mistake NCW as solicitating law suits. NCW is not excluding such actions when the government and their representatives violate protected activities, rights and conduct criminal acts.
MANY CITY & STATE governments appear not to hold public officials and employees accountable. So, our grievances are being ignored and where are we to file our complaints?
WE THE PEOPLE! I know, sometimes we get tired of hearing that phrase. But watching your government is a duty and an ongoing process. "ABSOLUTE POWER CURRUPTS ABSOLUTELY" first written by John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton 1887.
WE THE PEOPLE are the only resource available when it is clear through corrective actions and follow up that these changes need to be addressed or make the city feel the financial pain of incompetence, complicity and corruption.
I know many of us don't have the same experiences with cops and sometimes I believe, live in a false sense of security and have a "cops do nothing wrong" mentality, despite what is displayed on media on nearly a daily basis. I especially welcome you to join.
What to do next:. If your interested reach out and we can start organizing. REMEMBER that as law abiding US Citizens, we shouldn't fear physical harm and incarceration for exercising our rights and if we don't exercise them, like muscles, they will go away. If you are one of those who are feeling a little fearful already reading this post, I would ask myself why?
Why do I believe what I do: ACCORDING TO : 4 U.S. Code § 8.Respect for flag:
(d)The flag should never be used as wearing apparel...but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.
(e)The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.
(g)The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.
(i)The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered... Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.
(j)No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.
PUBLIC OFFICIALS allow PUBLIC EMPLOYEES (cops) to desecrate the US FLAG by:
1. By displaying the American flag with a blue line within the contents of the stripes of red and white. The reason for the disregard for the rules as I understand them is to memorialize the fallen police during the course of their duties. putting a blue line in the middle of the flag, CONTRARY TO THE AFOREMENTIONED.
2. I have seen this flag sewn onto officers uniforms while conducting official public business. CONTRARY TO THE AFOREMENIONED
3. I have seen posters and other flags in government offices displaying the same desecrated. CONTRARY TO THE AFOREMENTIONED
4. When I see this desecration, I am reminded that that particular individual, group, or gang, believes their group is above the American Flag and deserve their own FLAG for their own Country. I believe the N***S had the SWATISKA. we are there people. WHAT ARE WE PREPARED TO DO? Our PUBLIC OFFICIALS and EMPLOYEES believe they are above the rest of us. Every time you see a "thin blue line", you should quiver.
NCW NEEDs EVERY SKILL so please show your interest. I am especially begging for a law professional who can join and guide us on the law as we become more comfortable with our activities.
